Magnificent airships soar through the Sindrovan skies, bridging the final gaps between the continents and allowing near-limitless exploration. Artists break conventions to push the boundaries of conception. Artificers have elevated engineering to an art form in itself, creating technological marvels and crafting simulacra of life itself out of clockwork constructions. The tribes of old are starting to become increasingly rare, as the borders of the civilized world stretch ever further.
On the continent of Lochria this age of rapid innovation has been hailed with ambivalent responses. Some have embraced progress, favouring the acquisition of knowledge and exploration over antiquated habits. Others, wary of the risks these new inventions may bring, prefer to stick to the old ways. Lochria is a dangerous continent, after all, and many are loath to part with the traditions and rituals that helped protect them in the past. These tensions are on the verge of causing larger schisms, both between nations and within them.
