Session 29 - Reunited! - Report
General Summary
Now in Mythrenluna once more, the Gang reunites after parting ways for various reasons, and meet with Sorend to hopefully get any bit of information that may help in the coming war. Sorend tells the gang a story about 3 orbs that have been in Cyradon for as long as anyone knows. The orbs have been used to ward off demonic presences and were scattered around the island to prevent any demon invasions. Upon hearing this story, the gang presents the orb they recently acquired during their expedition to the Efferakof Pyramid, which Sorend confirms as one of the three. According to him, the remaining two orbs rest in the mountains and in the forest, both in locations the gang has been before. With this new information, their final bit of advice is to seek out Madame Sperantza. As story time comes to an end, the Gang heads back to Cyradon. Once again in Cyradon, everyone heads back home to Naporia. Upon their arrival, Brax informs Tally Underbelly that their best bet for finding Madame Sperantza is to return to the Namebreaker goblin clan. With this being their only lead, the gang sets off for Dulgogoth. Arriving to a warm reception from the goblins (who seemed to be expecting their return), the Gang meets with the Namebreaker Chief who explains that they have been waiting to reward the gang for their efforts in fending off the attack from the Naporian mercenaries. The Chief produces an ebony scimitar and a leather bag that appears to be a Bag of Holding, one of the most powerful magic items in the known world. Upon receiving this wondrous gift, the gang decided to throw all the rocks they could find into the bag... With their new gifts in hand, the gang inquires about madame Sperantza. The Chief sets them up with a guide to take them to her and the gang is on the move once more. Their new goblin guide leads the Gang back to Dalry, the small mining settlement in the foothills east of Naporia. Once in town, they are led into a furnished, but unoccupied house, wherein they begin moving furniture out of the center of the room to reveal a trap door. Proceeding through the door, the Gang finds themselves in a dark stone hallway, and are instructed to not move, as there are many traps that need to be disarmed before continuing. With the hall no safe to pass through, the gang enters into a small stone room with an archway filled with a swirling black smoke... a room that both Tally and Master Roshi have seen in their dreams. Wasting no time, The gangs nameless guide proceeds through the archway, disappearing into the swirling black substance. Throwing caution to the wind, the Gang follows suit, entering into the darkness and finding themselves in a massive city carved into the walls of a tremendous cavern - The Dusk Haven. Following their guide along the metal walkways lining the cavern walls, they soon find themselves in a small, smokey shop with a small, old, cloaked woman - once again familiar to Tally and Roshi - Madame Sperantza. The Madame welcomes the gang, and tells them that she has been waiting for them. Once everyone is settled, Madame Sperantza produces 5 tarot cards, face down on the table, and has the gang choose cards. One by one, the gang chooses cards and gets a glimpse of their fate...
