Session 10: Tunnel Fightin Report

General Summary

After a quick rest, the party moved down through a tunnel that emerged into a small cavern, through which ran a fast flowing river, across on the opposite bank were two more of the Red Legion hobgoblins who aimed their crossbows at the seekers.   Flick used the ever present roots and vines of the forest, that pushed through even this deep rock, and formed a Vine Whip, which yanked each of the hobgoblins in turn into the water, with Ofelia adding insult to this wet injury by leaping over and finishing off one of the goblinoids before they were swept down a plunging waterfall to a cave below.   The figured there must be some way of crossing over, and spotted a set of tied together wooden planks on the opposite side of the river. Arenor used his Unseen Servant to drag the planks and push them out over the river to form a bridge.   There was another curving tunnel leading down to follow, which they set out on. Before long, a group of Goblin's ambushed them, one was swole as heck, a Swoblin, two had bows and then, somehow, one leapt from the shadows behind them; its envenomed dagger cutting deep into Flick before being taken out. As mighty as the Swoblin was, he fell too, the two with bows tried to run but were no match for a Tabaxi Monk who gave chance and finished them off.
