Session 20 - Typical Forest Nonsense

General Summary

Still talking with the genasi group.   They are from the far eastern city of Zepharahim, asking about where Nikoli's ring is. They're told that the noble took it (a lie, Flick gave it to them) and so want to head to Quinton. The Genasi pass Grubbis a 10 GP Saphire as a tip.   Ofelia offers to help the tabaxi get free of her masters but she is worried about her children back home. Ofelia says to seek out the Caravan of the wandering wind. Fessalia Bloom of the caravan will help. Passes a her a draft map and 10 GP and a painting kit. The Genasi head off down south to make their way to Quinton.   They encounter Hettiejek the Nilgob who poses them a riddle, they solve it and are offered the choice of a mystery box or a magical passage that will take them where they want to be.   They choose the box, opening up to find a rod with three rubbery purple tentacles. (Rod of Tentacles)   They walk through the forest and find a gravestone with a tree growing around it. Arenor senses an undead creature and so, as they investigate the stone, which seems like it was ancient even before the forest grew, they aren't surprised when a Revenant pulls itself out of the grave and attacks.   They drive off the spirit of the ancient king. Its sword, crown and armour are left.

Grubbis Indentifies items as the Tentacle Rod, the King's Sword is a +2 Longsword and its crown is made of meteoric iron.
