Session 1: The first steps. Report

General Summary

The shanty town of Plungehome is home to many refugees from the Tragedy at Cragmouth. Recently however, there have been shortage in supplies to the town one of which being the very important Silverfoil plant which is a basic component to many of the healing ointments and medicines used around the camp. In order to combat this shortage two intrepid little fellows were volunteered for the task.   Lyon, the apprentice to Inabella Evenlight who happens to be the town's healer, apothecary and physician all in one was requested to take the lead in this initiative due to being the one person with the education required to identify, collect and bring back suitable samples of Silverfoil.   With him, a Goblin by the name of Willy has been drafted as well. Half pest, half pest-control and all resourcefulness, Willy has become notorious for being slick in both his aptitude for evasion as well as his sharp wit. He has been tasked with ensuring that Lyon returns alive in one piece.   Together they ventured out of Plungehome and followed the Silverstream down through the forest. At first the trek was peaceful. with only a brief sight of a green-cloaked halfling scurrying away into the bushes, though after a few hours they encountered a singing muse who invited the two young men to join her by the water. When asked about the Silverfoil, the woman informed her that the river's shores had been recently picked clean. Though this information would almost come at a great cost. Through quick thinking and a quick trigger, the woman revealed herself to be a monstrosity which inhabited the water and slunk back into the depths of the Silverstream, taking both light and song with her.   As the duo then made it further into the woods and away from the waters, they came across a trio of Elven archers from Plungehome. They initially entertained some of Lyon's questioning before ushering them to leave. With Lyon's distraction, Willy skulked through the bushes and saw what they were using as target. A Halfling with a green cloak, though unlike the first which they had seen, this one had been dead for more than a few hours. He retrieved a few items from it and left to join Lyon.   With the information available to them, knowing the halflings had picked my of the Silverfoil themselves and with a delicate situation on their hands, they group now has to decide how to proceed...
