Session 153: Witchery & Wendigos

General Summary

Without informing Bart of his plans, Jinn had taken an unconscious Jade to Aerolus. While the wizard appreciated the snack, it was the information gathered which proved most relevant. Jade was able to provide valuable intelligence on the dragon cult's dealings within Tandarrah and, more specifically, within the Quickwell Guild.   Before leaving Tandarrah the Dragon Punchers met one last time with Badzal. The guild leader offered to do a tarot reading for each of the heroes as a motion of thanks for services rendered.   With their final goodbyes complete, the Dragon Punchers set out for Ilester. The voyage across the Endless Ocean was pleasantly uneventful, save Marley's seasickness. Upon arrival on the main continent the Dragon Punchers, Emlyn Varg, and their lingwir escorts took to the skies to cross the Greyspine Mountains.   Over the course of several days it became abundantly apparent that the well-intentioned Speaker was ill-suited to adventuring life. The lingwir's commander, Hest Ruan Silkspear, seemed eminently competent and somewhat continually baffled by the Dragon Punchers' ongoing shenanigans. It was only when their camp was attacked by wendigo that their capability as adventurers came to light. The party quickly dispatched the creatures.   Chari took the remaining wendigo skull for use as a pauldron, in what could only be described as a questionable fashion choice at best.
