General Summary

The game is played and for some, the game is lost. All thought this game would be high stakes, but strange as it may sound, this was a game of which the effects will resound through the ages. Playing with borrowed money like John Knight, desperate to not get into debt with the cities kingpin, or cheating yourself to a profit like Haldane did. Or perhaps playing for a higher cause like truth, like niniane ashton did.   Does it matter what the motivations are behind the cards? Not really. All it matters is the game itself and the stakes bet, lost and staked again. Money changes hands and so does information, so it does indeed. Learning of the motivations of the players was important, but the biggest reveal, or dare I say fold, was that Bishop alexander Gutvin loved dame Ammee. Worse even, loves her still. And all at the table believed him capable of killing her.   This all is too complicated a dance for a crime of passion. But still there are corpses. What did they bet, and what did they loose?
