the rise of Dame Ammee Report
General Summary
After going to sleep, the fellowship woke up... or did they? Waking up as different people, with little memory regarding their previous lives, the fellowship woke up as new people. -Junaid as Private investigator John knight, being hired to investigate the suspicious death of an opera performer by the name of Dame Ammee, aided by his trusty companion Sally Rook. -Helene Falk as Helena Falconi, a nightclub singer, and daughter of "el Capitano" Falconi, the feared leader of the providence crime syndicate. -Loran Haldane as himself, but now owning a mobster affiliated nightclub called "Haldanes" -Lara Luciana as Forensic pathologist, waking up with the unexamined dead body of dame Ammee on her autopsy table, incorrectly labeled as a male patient. -Niniane Ashton, a famous radio reporter and defender of the truth. One of the last people to speak with dame Ammee before her tragic fatal performance. Aided by her trusty intern Yara. And the plot thickens as the fellowship gets their "act" together in this brave new world. Clearly, Dame Ammee has been killed by mysterious means, leaving her clothing untouched but a gaping cauterized hole where once her heart was in her chest. Unclear what could cause such a wound, Lara goes to investigate what other discrepancies she can find, the most obvious one being in her possessions being archived already. Far too soon for such a fresh case, it is even stranger that the archived box is located in the oldest parts of the evidence storage. Retrieving the belongings of dame Ammee from a new box labeled with a far too old archival number, Lara finds new leads in the form of a series of business cards and a serviceable gun. Persuing one of the business cards that has the contact information of her niece labeled as "The Martyr" she goes to follow up on her family's whereabouts. Meanwhile, the ever-inquisitive investigative journalist is approached by one of her sources the famous short-seller and information broker known only as "the harbourmaster". An otherwise uneventful journey still manages to raise more questions as she and her intern collect the now developed photos of the body of Dama Ammee. Shaken and ever more determined to get to the bottom of this story, another piece of the puzzle is dropped right in her lap. It seemed that dame Ammee was not organizing her comeback tour for the money, being the heiress to the vast fortune and controlling share of the powerful and extremely wealthy Elyon corporation. Calling on the bonds of shared blood, Helene Falk arranges for a meeting with her father, Don "El Capitano" Faclone, and John knight, PI. Best to get business out of the way before, especially with a poker game coming up that starts like a bad joke with a worse punchline. The stakes are high, but who is betting what?
