The call of the tide Report
General Summary
Their fearsome opponent, called "the mothers most beloved child" has been defeated, or in the very least pacified. Whatever corruption drove it to attacking ships and drew both emissaries of the coven of the tide as well as a sunseer to it's location has been expunged on the deck of the leech. The massive creature taken out of combat by a clever combination of wits and spellcraft, and oddly enough prophecy. Not only a little worse for wear, the ship has certainly taken a beating. That, of course, is a relative point of view... Especially compared to the other ship engaged in the naval combat. The Mysterious vessel sailing under the banner of a fish skeleton and a harpoon has certainly taken more of a beating than even the leech; its rigging blasted to shreds have reduced it to a limping and ungainly pace. Without repairs in a drydock, or in the very least by expert shipwright, it is and remains cripled. But before the fellowship can investigate the Dragonturtle, there is the matter of official Parlay to deal with. The druid aboard the whaling vessel has surrendered after all, and traveled to the leech in order to make discuss terms of surrender.
