Session 29: The Barrow Report

General Summary

The party made their way northwest of Greywatch keep, making good time towards the excavation site. They encountered an agitated bull triceratops which they successfully avoided. Upon arriving at the dig site they were met by Haskins and an overly enthusiastic historian called Dominic. Inside the barrow the party rested, tinkerer repaired the broken Muriel and door and thanks to Naivara’s Comprehend Languages they learned the saga of High King Grimnar.
The next day they ventured into the tomb and encountered the trap that had foiled the expedition taking several darts before finally passing it.
Thyey paid tribute to the high king and proved themselves worthy in honourable combat.
In the following chamber they found treasure including a soul gem and a master crafted sword.
The party descended to the second level and began to explore before they were attacked by a draugr wight who they dispatched. They learned the sagas of Vul’kan and Magnus and made their way out to rest.
