Gingan & Quattor had previously cleared a camp of bandits while searching for a missing family. Their friend Mina left to see to of business of her own but the pair met up with Ysault who was out on patrol and decided to lay an ambush for the returning bandits. While preoccupied greeting their new friends their current captive "Old Darl" slipped away into the trees. After nearly losing the Dwarf in the underbrush Ysault spied him cowering before two nearby ogres. Taking a chance Old Darl alerted the Ogres but failed to get out of the way in time and was unceremoniously beaten to death and eaten by the ogres. Thinking quickly, Quattor cast grease on the two lumbering creatures causing one to slip into the other and an ogre brawl to break out allowing the party to escape. Some time later the bandits finally returned to their camp, Gingan disguised himself as Old Darl as passed off the others as recent hires, leaving the bandits unaware and leading the group straight for their main camp. Gingan learned the scope of the operation before deciding they would need backup and unleashing a verbal tirade of magic laced insults at the Bandit leader. The battle was brief seeing the leader killed and the two other bandits taken into custody. Ysault and Quattor suffering minor injuries in the scuffle. After resting the night the party returned to town with their captives and presented them to Justicar Thorne who thanked them and paid the standing bounty for bandits. Disturbed by what they had seen, the group posted a request for reinforcements for others to join them in rescuing the kidnapped family
