The Liberation of Kashyyk Report - Episode 1

General Summary

Black Squadron arrives on the forest homeworld of the Wookies!   After rendezvousing with the local alliance forces and the Wookie Chieftain Tarrful, Captain Mireille Nem devises a clever ruse to draw Imperial forces out of their base within the World Tree.   With the fate of Kashyyyk’s ecosystem on the line, Kred Jervata leads a covert infiltration of the base with the aim of disarming the Imperial’s adhoc reactor bombs.
After a harrowing climb beneath the Imperial bridge, the Squadron narrowly evades a terrible fate at the jaws of a massive and ancient Dire Wyyyschokk spider.
Now within the facility proper, the team overhears the Imperial commander: Major Cado Slone as he prepares for the final evacuation and subsequent destruction of the World Tree. With time running out, they rush to disarm the bombs. However, as they press Imperial technicians to do so, the Imperial trap is sprung.
