S25: Muddied Waters Report

General Summary

The mayor of East Gnok approached the group, and while speaking with him in private they eventually came to the conclusion that they'd insist on the flooding being an accident. Later, using her druidic powers, Lori managed to heal those afflicted with some sort of sickness in East Gnok before venturing out to find the source of the undead. On the way they found a wounded horse named Dancer that they brought with them. Qabal granted Kido flight to survey the area where they suspected the source might be, about a days walk from East Gnok. They found what they thought was an old burial mound, but as they got closer the hills were in fact large plant Geoden guarding a small underground sanctuary. They were allowed access inside after Feyra and Kido spoke to them. There, they found a small tree with glowing fruit. Its water source was polluted with the substance from a small broken bug-like contraption. Kido picked the robot up and they cleaned the waters with Prestidigitation. As Feyra cast speak with plants to communicate with the tree it reached into her mind and said "you are broken".
