General Summary

Argos went to a local tavern to speak to a barkeeper that he knew well by the name of Finney Strand who ran The Loving Mug. Argos was trying to get any information that he could on his past and current associates in the trade. Finney Strand unfortunately did not have anything for him. However, the next morning when the party was holding up at Argos's place, an orphan boy from a message from the same tavern keeper. The note stated that a Tiefling had been thrown into jail the same day that Argos arrived into town.   Argos and the party decided to head over to the jail to investigate. Argos got himself arrested to see what was going on inside, and managed to keep his equipment on him in the cell. Meanwhile Foddle and Dan acted like Cleric and Paladin. Things quickly got out of hand and they knocked one guard out, then killed three more. The names of the unfortunate guards were Ander, Samuel, and Davish. Being in the middle of the military district, they immediately caught the attention of all nearby solders and guards. As solders burst through the front door, Dan obliterated a stone wall in the jail, and they burst in to the courtyard. They each ran a different direction, with the huge Goliath attracting the brunt of the attention. Everybody evaded the pursuing the solders except for Dan. Dan thought he had escaped the guards and had just met up with Arondel, when an assassin came from behind and cut down the already weak Dan. The assassins identity was Sir Lanard , an assassin with the Lord's Alliance. The assassin then runs down the alley to escape but gets killed himself before rounding the corner, due to a well placed spell by Arondel.   Arondel got Dan back to Argos's place and they gathered there to decide what to do now. Luke Aranxius offers to help any way he can to bring Dan back, in return for his death being on his hands. Luke offers a contact of his at The Wicker, and also any studies he can find at his small abode outside the east walls of the city. Luke Aranxius and Argos make their way that night to The Wicker to meet his contact and Argos is surprised to see his old compatriot, Trovia. She agrees to take them through the sewer system, and tells them to meet her here the next night.    Argos, with the remainder of the night, goes to the east  side of the city and finds a small temple next to the graveyard. He speaks with a simple priest there and makes a deal for the priest, named Priest Devin , for him to assist them with cleaning Dan's wounds and doing his best to prepare him for a possible resurrection from somebody trained in that way. Argos explains where his place is and Priest Devin  explains that he will go get supplies with the provided money, then will make his way to the place. Argos then goes and makes an agreement with the orphan boy Ross. Ross excitedly agreed to keep watch for Priest Devin , and took charge of a key to Argos.    The next morning, Trovia takes them into the sewers and starts to them them under and beyond the east city walls. She backs out for a moment while the party parlays with a horse headed beast. They fell the beast and Trovia takes them the remainder of the way through the sewers, outside of the east city walls. At the exit, she parts ways with the group and Argos.   Luke Aranxius and the group behind him, found his home scorched and empty. He rushed inside and did find a hidey hole of his, was still full of a few precious items. They walked out another mile and camped out for the night, then awoke in the morning to discuss getting back into the city. They approached Gate Guard Ralph, and Luke Aranxius convinced him not only that he joined this band of people who were chasing the recent murderers to the northeast. Also convinced him to go for another l[ine of solder duty, going for the temple district instead of the city jail. They went back to to the
