Session 1: Battle at the Chapel Report

General Summary

We met Peter Stevens as he was taking his exams. He was chastised by his TA, Jessica Chavez, when he almost arrived late after falling asleep while studying. He made A's on them after writing a particularly persuasive essay. He went out for drinks with his best friend Arthur Chase. A drunk man attempted to instigate a fight with them but was escorted out by security.   We met Quinn Quade as she made her way to work. She witnessed a fender bender on the way. She met up with her friend Jose who is in love with Jackson. Later that day she found herself randomly appearing 30 ft away from where she had originally been standing without remembering moving. She also witnessed Jackson being kissed by Sarah. Sarah apologized for the unwanted kiss, and Quinn believes that Jackson is interested in Jose.   Peter and Quinn went to the wedding of their best friends, Arthur Chase and Monica MacNamera. They ran through the rehearsal without the officiant, Pastor Mark who was missing. Peter and Quinn called Pastor Mark's church and discovered that Pastor Mark was supposed to have arrived three days ago. Peter and Quinn went to Pastor Mark's hotel and spoke with the teenager who worked the front desk. He told them that Pastor Mark never checked in. They went to the church in town and spoke with Pastor Peter who agreed to officiate the wedding.   As Pastor Peter began the ceremony, he transformed into a tall hyena-like creature who was carrying armor and weapons. He revealed that he had killed Pastor Mark. Quinn and Peter fought Pastor Peter aided by a punch from Joe and an attack with a high heel from Monica. They both found that they seemed to have some strange power. Quinn shot a bolt of poison and a bolt of fire at Pastor Peter while Peter hit the pastor with a shockingly strong attack (divine smite).   Pastor Peter disintegrated after being struck down with a devastating blow from Peter. Joe told Quinn, Peter, and Angie that they needed to have a conversation.   Note: Arthur, Monica's dad, and a random attendee were in the room when magic was used.
