D&D LIVE!!! Session 16: The Grinding of Stones Report

General Summary

After opening the cryptex, Peter and Quinn heard the grinding of stones signifying the approach of a golem.  They fought the golem and quickly managed to defeat it.  Checking their phones, they saw that they had a received a text from Valerie saying that Seth, John, and she thought they had found the location of Hazel and Jessica.  She directed Peter and Quinn to meet them at the Lotus Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.   Peter and Quinn began their journey but found that it was constantly hampered by consistent monster attacks.  They either defeated the monsters or sped past them unti they realized that Charon's scroll was attracting the monsters.  They resealed the scroll in the cryptex and proceeded to the Lotus Hotel and Casino unimpeded.  They tried contacting the others but received no response.  They investigated the area but did not find anything out of place.  They entered the Lotus Hotel and Casino and made wisdom saving throws.  Peter rolled a 16, and Quinn rolled a 21.
