Session 017 Report: Warpath

Synopsis

The party was invited to a great feast thrown by the followers of Gashnag in anticipation of a glorious battle that could be the end of their religion. Fannybaws gave the group a variety of magic items in hopes of keeping them alive. However, they got the dreadful feeling of being watched.   The following morning, the army began the march down the tunnels but found themselves in combat quite early, suggesting that Brazenthrone also launched an attack at the same time. Beating down a drudge of Dwarven skeletons and watching them dissipate into nothingness, the party continued their march, eventually entering the pillar chamber.   There, they were forced to submit to and praise Azrakoth and the glory that he commands! He revealed Sarea to be an elf, stating that elvenkind is naturally superior to the others. Laughing in the face of Sarea having the folly of "morals," he left the party to contend with his minions, making it clear that he's excited to have fresh players on the field, especially ones that already delivered him a great prize...
