Synopsis
The party entered the Great Hall with their ally, Derthag, leading the way, where they found themselves surrounded by guards, Pushkrimp, and Fannybaws. They then proceeded to interrupt an important war meeting by throwing around insults, which wasn't taken kindly by the High Sipaki, who told them to stow their issues or leave, as his people stood at the gate of extermination and the Dread Lord had come to help. Of course, this didn't stop the continual jabs as Fannybaws and Pushkrimp had the party debrief them on everything they had gone through.
She revealed that when they first met, she had slipped the party potions that would work to counteract lycanthropy, negating any danger the werewolves' bites posed. She expressed concern over the Federation showing up in Brazenthrone. She would go on to reveal that she became a sailor all those years ago in order to help hunt down someone whose blood may finally see the Orcs' god freed. She had Wirin show the ring he wore, leading Pushkrimp to realize that Fannybaws had delivered on their alliance. This led him to allow Fannybaws in on the secrets that lay far below.
However, with this knowledge came the realization that the Federation had exactly what they wanted: blood that would undo the Seal. The party was permitted to rest in the camp before they descended through a tunnel into the Underdark. After all, the Orcs were stuck waiting on the Grand Ugaarsi to return before planning against Brazenthrone could begin.
In this tunnel, the Arbiter was revealed to be dead after going far deeper into the Underdark than any Drow would dare to. Engraved into the tunnel walls were depictions of various battles from the Remergent War. The party went through miles of an Dead Magic Zone and a silenced area.
Most odd of all, however, was Wirin's claim to see the dead god Elendar. This being claimed some perplexing facts, such as there only being two moons in the sky and thousands of years having passed since he was last conscious. The party finally arrived at a grand cavern...
