General Summary

Camping   Overnight attack - poisoned crossbow bolts   Assassins?   One seen and killed - recognisable as a thuggish type from the backstreets of Shaf Threen .   His (presumed) colleagues escape and collapse the mine shaft behind the team, blocking their return home.   Despite valiant efforts, Pebble dies !!!   And even more shocking - she has face tentacles under her beard!!!
