Session 31: The Belly of the Beast Report

General Summary

Eleanor charges at the wall just behind them, activating her boots but ends up teleporting into the awll as it closes fully. She lets out a growl, cursing in undercommon as she strikes the wall over and over with her greataxe cassandra. "Piece of fucking SHIT!!!" She says continuing to strike as the wall closes around her, forcing her backwards into the fleeing party, heaidng deeper into the tunnel. "I AINT GOIN. TO. LET. THIS. HAPPEN!!" she cries out as her blade simply falls upon solid, if slimy stone.
As the walls collapse in on Eleanor, Ayame jumps on Sebastians back, reaching a hand towards Eleanor and pulls her to safety just as the walls nearly crush her. Eleanor runs down the hallway, frazzled and angry, but she gives thanks to the fox maiden as they run further into the passage. They come to the edge of a steep, slippery slope and with the pressure from behind them mounting, roll down into an open, well lit cavern. A slimy, fettid flesh color coats the walls, pulsing every so often. The room being fairly long, roughly 100ft from where they entered to where the back wall shallows into another tight cooridor that looks impassable, even to Ragia.
On the party's right, a rough barricade of barrels and random broken furniture has been constructed, seemingly to hold something back that the party can't quite figure out. To their left are two open paths deeper into the cave. Most of this is not as immediate of a concern, as there are a large group of people within the center of the main chamber, standing in three different groups, two of which have drawn weapons, looking to the party.
The first group that the party notices is a group of six orcs, one female, wearing gauntlets unlike the others, their weapons drawn. The second group looks to be just two people, a human holding a dagger in one hand and a book in the other, with a half-orc also holding a throwing axe. The third and final group, all eight of them, human, don't have their weapons drawn, but are wearing leather and studded leather, with very dirty, viscera coated maces slung to their sides.
Kaelyn notices that there is ichor on all of their weapons, that even coats part of Cassandra, but green instead of the red of blood.
Everyone in the cavern looks tired, scared, and angry. The pulverized remains of several humanoid creatures are slumped over the barricade. The walls themselves are lined with sunroods for light, before the man wielding the book calls attention to himself, yelling at the party. "Who the FUCK are you people?!"
"W-who the fuck are we!? Who the hells are you!!!" Naomi shrieks in anger, snapping out of the surreal situation and surroundings she was taking in.
"Some poor blokes who were hoping to cleanup the city and got eaten by a tunnel, like everyone here as far as I can tell... We mean no harm." Ragia says giving a soft wave.
Ayame has sebastian help Eleanor up from the ground as she smiles to respond to her earlier remark. "No problem." She says with a smile and a flick of her tail.
From behind the barricade, the sound of whispers arise out of nowhere, with the third group drawing their wapons and everyone looking towards the barricade itself. "Help us... it hurts... Join us, be free from the pain..." the party hears the whispers growing louder, and all of the gathered groups seems on the verge of a social breakdown. "We don't have time for new bullshit." Says a fairly attractive woman in the third group, before looking at the party. "Are you reinforcements?" She says with a slight twinge of exausted hope, as one of the other men in her group looks away from the party in shame.
"We'll help however we can. Any info on what we can expect?" Ragia says.
"Well, I don't seee how us not helping you would benefit us at this moment so... Yes I suppose?" Ayame says with a shrug.
"Is anyone injured?" Naomi says, snapping out of her anger as she looks to the visceral display before her. "I'm a cleric for Rhamnasia."
Eleanor meanwhile must mutters to herself, gripping her axe tightly while the voices continue to whisper, but the tone shifts dramatically as all of the partys look to Naomi, with the man holding the book speaking up. "A cleric of a goddess of expelling demons?"
The man who previously looked away from the party in shame sheaths his rapier and looks to Ayame, pointing to where the party had entered from. "This passage was the only way in and out of this literal hell, and it was sealed for the last two days... He must have left it open to get more... things... under his control."
"He?" Says Ayame, while Eleanor makes her own way to the barricade, listening to the whispers.
The half orc sighs and speaks up. "Its a long story but-" "Enough of this!" interrupts the female orc, lashing out towards the laf orc. "The new ones here are of no concern to the topic at hand, supplies are running low, and their attacks are more and more aggressive, both of us lost people in the last attack Tarmalac." She says pointing a gauntleted finger towards the man who sheathed his rapier, before pointing back to the party, eyes still deadlocked on the man. "They are just weaklings to die and swell the ranks of the demon's legion. If we are attacked, step aside and let the real warriors go to work, and if you can't hold your tongue,, I'll cut it out and hold it for you." She says with a roaring snarl.
Ignoring the loud orc woman behind her, Eleanor focuses on the words behind the barricade, hearing the sounds of weaping, laughing and groaning. "It is inevitable." She hears one voice say. "Join us, and your suffering will end. All is equal in the eyes of Vog Mor."
Naomi grips her staff and chants to herself. "The only strength the unjust hold is fear, the only weakness the just have is a clouded mind. The goddess brings forth stillness to all things." She says casting a spell as a haze of golden mist surrounds everyone in the cave, the sound of bells qquietly ringing out in the distance.
"If you don't value our combat skill for now, can we at least share the supplies?" Ragia says, annoyed with the boisterous nature of the orc.
"Do you have food?" Says one of the thugs with Tarmalac, as everyone starts to calm down. Everyone still ooks on edge, and stressed out, but less about their emotions and more about the immediate situation.
"Please, everyone there is no need for arguments now. There is a lot of information needed here." Naomi says.
The thug speaks up again. "Only thing we need right now is food and rest... we haven't slept for two days, and the food has rotted away..."
"I could feed everyone here without difficulty, using one of my miracles." Naomi says.
One of the other orcs, a grizzled older one pounds his chest proudly. "Our warriors can go weeks without food. Give to the weak ones what they desire, we feast only on the blood of our enemies." He says with a few of the orcs chuckling and pounding their chest in agreement, with Ayame perking up in agreement as well.
"I am just saying, there is no need to be stressed about lack of resources now. We can work through this together." Naomi says.
"How many are behind that barricade?" Ayame asks. "Any ideas?"
Nobody seems willing to speak up about that particular issue. "The only ones here keeping resources are the iron rings. Its their fault we in this mess." Says one of the orcs, snarling towards Tarmalac. Eleanor has been quiet the entire time, leaning against the barricade before a hand bursts forth and tries to grab her, before she swings down Samantha and severs the arm that tried to grab her, as it twitches and writhes for a brief moment while the owner of said arm shrieks in pain, before the hand stops moving. The man carying the book suddenly yells at Eleanor, noticing the commotion. "GET AWAY FROM THERE! Its our ONLY protection against those... things."
Ayame reaches out her hand and the severed appendage levitates before her so she may study it. Eleanor meanwhile looks back to the man with the book with an intense gaze, but she shakes herself out of it and steps away from the barricade. "Have y'all fought it yet?" She asks sternly.
The man with the book points a finger to Tarmlac. "If this thieving idiot hadn't stolen the chrysalis, I could have hatched this thing under controlled conditions and set its destructive impulses to bobey my will. Only I can save us, I have the knowledge and power to stand against it. So, when it eventually shows itself, I hope all of you guard me with your lives so we have any sort of fighting chance." He says with a snide remark, looking to Eleanor than back to the party. "They hide the truth behind these walls they create." Calls out some of the voices beyond the barricade as Bruno seems overwhelemed, and slumps himself into a corner, looking hopeless. "They hide, only to fear that they can teard own these walls when Vog Mor reaches his full power. They delay only the inevitable."
Nonplussed by the voices, Ayame watches as the undead apendage has worms pop out from the blood vessels of the veins and start to splatter onto the floor and wriggle around. Ayame pokes at them, and she knows that the arm itself is undead, but not like other undead. "Its a zombie, but... the worms it produces are interesting."
She floats the arm over to Eleanor, while Naomi is trying her best to concentrate on the spell keeping everyone calm. "Hey Eleanor, recognize anyting about these? It is your hometown after all."
Eleanor looks at the worms with disgust. "They're not from here...." She says, her gaze shifting back to the barricade. "They're not supposed to be here... I... Just know I have to kill that thing behind the barricade."
"Why do I get the feeling your goal is to control whatever got us into this mess instead of clearing out the place?" Says Ragia. "Wouldn't just fire suffice?"
The man with the book scoffs. "Obviously, fire wouldn't work properly in such small amounts. As part demon, now that Vog Mor has hatched, he must be fully banished from the realm using a special ritual that only a master necromancer can perform... Without me, everyone here will perish."

Ayame starts stepping up to the man, but the half orc stands himself between the two, looking to be some sort of body guard. Ayame peers around the side of the orc. "Why don't you have any undead with you then..." She says her eyes trailing to look back up to the half orc. "Unless..."
The man with the book points to a puddle of Viscera atop the barricade. "Because everyone that dies in here becomes his plaything, so... if anyone dies... destroy the body." The half orc leans down and whispers to Ayame. "His name is Ofec... please forgive his arrogance, it comes from fear."
"Huh..." Says ayame with a shrug. "Well I would imagine things like skeletons are fine... My beloved sebastian doesn't seem to be having any issues." She says proudly, puffing out her chest. "Its the worms controlling the bodies."
Naomi shudders as she stops concentrating on the spell, letting it fall. "Regardless. This isn't an impossible situation. I've prepared to fight against the foul creatures of Infernium my entire life."
Eleanor pipes up herself. "The worms are the culprit, but that thing is more than just an undead devil, its abhorrent in the cruelest ways..." She says taking a deep breath. "If we let that thing live, anguish will seem like a bunch of puppies."
"Then we kill it!" Ayame says cheerfully with a nod.
Tarmalac raises his hand. "Ok... back to our caves, keep a watch as normal, it doesn't look like we can get anything accomplished." He says, squinting at the orcs as the female leader looks to her own people, giving them a nod as they retreat into their own cave as well before taking a moment to look back to Tarmalac.
"So be it... filthy thief..." She says, snarling and bearing her teeth at Tarmalac, the tention still thick as sludge for everyone remiaing.
Nahemah sighs deeply, her shoulders drooping now that things seem a bit more calm. "OGods, what a mess we've ended up in. WAIT!" She says calling out to the leaders. "I have a question. If we are short on supplies, I can create them now. Group morale is very important. These people need a win somehow."
"Well," Snides the human woman. "We've been waiting, but you haven't brought them forward."
Ayame just squints at Ofec, sizing him up before he looks back to her. "What are you looking at?"
"You...you look really young to be a necromancer trying to make something so supposedly dangerous" Ayame says.
Naomi meanwhile has bbeen focusing and starts to cast a spell. "The people of the land must be self-sufficient in this world, but the merciful Goddess still provides for those in need. Allow these humble servants to live another day." As food starts to appear on the ground, in small, thin wicker baskets. However, except for the water, all of the food turns inedible and moldy within moments.
Ayame turns her gaze from Ofec towards the food. "Hmm... Impressive..."
The human woman crosses her arms. "Doesn't look like the gods are helping us out that much down here... I thought our food spoiled because of the shit leadership down here." She says glancing to Tarmalac before looking back to Naomi. "But at least its not his fault this time..."
Naomi frowns and starts to chant again.
"Ah... I wouldn't try again..." Ayame says.
"The Goddess shall cleanse the filth from the world, for only the pure shall ascend to the heavens." She says as the food miraculously looks refreshed and inviting, but quickly rots and molds away again after a brief moment.
Ayame looks back to Ofec. "Could I read your tome?" She asks.
"No." He says, holding the book tighter to his chest.
Ayame pouts, before giving a shrug. "Alright then." She says, moving over to the barrier.
Eleanor watches the food rot and scoffs. "We're not gettin food down here. Doddlin about and actin like this ain't going to fuckin help either." She says, giving a look to Ofec. "Te longer we wait, the more chances someone dies and the worse this gets. We need a plan of attack for when the inevitable breaks through."
"It would help if someone could tell us how many are back there." Ayame says pointedly to the other three groups.
"One." Eleanor says.
"I... I meant the zombies..." Ayame replies.
"That was what we were trying to discuss as a group." Says Tarmalac. "We lost a lot of men when that thing woke up. All the orcs said was to just break down the barrier and kill everything. To die in glory. The sad fact is we got a new shipment of slaves for trade in when it woke up... and the book to get the full count?" He says pointing to the barricade. "Good luck finding it."
Ayame nods, looking to Ofec. "And a necromancer as... great as yourself is unable to control the undead?" She says with a hint of sarcasm. "Well, it seems like the best line of action is to line up and attempt to break through all together to kill whatever is controlling them."
"I say, whoever needs rest takes it now, then we set up an ambush. Then we set up everyone who can fight from a distance so we don't make unnecessary risks, and attack it."
Naomi looks at the food, still visibly frustrated. "Yes, rest would be nice considering my miracles are slightly diminished now."
Ofec mutters to himself, "Well, you try controling these abominations, nothing has worked so far."
"There have been attacks every fifteen to twenty minutes." Tarmalac says with a sigh. "The orcs are relegated to their quarters and we to ours."
"Only because you refuse to share supplies with us." Snarls the lady orc again.
"And as I TOLD you, they are OUR supplies and there is no food in there or we would ahave eaten it already!"
"If you do not work together you will die separately..." Ayame says to them, getting visibly annoyed.
"I don't plan on dying today." The lady orc says, crossing her arms.
"Then start working together or otherwise you will!" Ayame yells.
Tarmalac and the orc harumphs at one another, and walks to separate corners of the room.
Eleanor snaps at the two parties. "Where the FUCK do yall think we are right now? Do you even know what fate lies beyond that point??" She yells, pointing at the barrier. "Death would be kind. Undeath would be kinder than that even."
Naomi makes her way to the barricade, stopping for a moment to place a gentle hand on Ayame's shoulder. "I'm going to place a ward on the barricade to protect from a surprise attack."
Ayame breaths deeply and sighs. "Very well... I'm about ready to throw them over the barricade myself."
Naomi stands before the barricade, and begins to cast. She stands her staff upright beside her, as it stays in place without wavering as it begins to glow. Before it, the sygil of Rhamnasia appears atop the barricade, a shield surrounding it as Naomi chants. "Oh Goddess of Exorcism, protect us from these foul creatures." She says, picking up the freshly severed hand that was forgotten at the barricade. "Should these ilk pass this holy barrier, smite them down with your divine justice." As she chants, she traces thing, silver etherial lines about all the edges of the barricade, as it stands into place, looking normal, but knowingly fortified.
Ofec approaches Naomi. "I'm... sorry for the way I reacted earlier. Its been stressful being the only spellcaster down here, and especially now with such a powerful party behind you, I'm hoping we could put it past us, so that me and Ironclaw have actual friends that could keep us alive down here..."
Eleanor looks at the cleric, still seemingly frazzled by the situation, "Good jobs Naomi... er... you should definitely use that to rest now, this god forsaken place made you waste some of yer magic on food after all."
Naomi finishes her casting, looking deathly serious as she grabs her staff, the glow dissapearing from the symbol emblazoned upon it. She slumps slightly and sighs. "Yes... rest would be nice. And its quite alright Ofec." She says turning to the necromancer. "I wouldn't expect anyone trapped in such a hellish situation to be completely reasonable upon first contact with another odd group. Rest assured." She says with a light nod. "We will gget out of here. My compatriots are some of the best fighters and friends I've ever known."
"Well..." Says Ayame. "We will certainly escape, but if you and the others don't start co-operating you might not."
"A-Ayame!" Naomi replies.
"I know! These imbiciles don't understand that during a time of high stress, there has to be cohesion within the groups, I get that, you get that, but if we leave here alive it will be all thanks to us." Ofec says, confident in himself.
Ayame raises a brow. "I can leave this room whenever I wish, but they can't, and It seems like they can't fight it on their own..."
"Calling them imbeciles and claiming being better ain't helping no one." Eleanor scoffs, "If none of yall can treat eachother as people in the same situation, then..." She thinks for a moment, letting out a sigh, "Honestly my personal recommendation is killin and burning everyone who would prefer dying still themselves."
Ayame shrugs. "You should rest and regain your strength, once you do we should remove the barricade if it hasn't fallen on its own, if they won't fight together we will force them too." She says coldly. "Its either that, or they starve to death."
Almost on cue, the glyph activates and a wave of the undead beyond the barricade perish from Naomi's spell. The orcs suddenly charging over, their weapons drawn, "I know the sound of death when I hear it! They lost a lot of people there... If anything NOW is the time to fight!" The lady orc yells out.
Tarmalac charges forward as well, "NO! Now is the time to rest and regroup since this wave was killed so quickly! THEN we can fig-"
"NO! WE HAVE WAITED FOR TWO DAYS YOU LITTLE CHICKEN!" The lady orc says as her and Tarmalac are practically screaming in each others face.
"HEY!" Eleanor shouts, forcing herself between the two. "If they're attacking anyways you join." She says glaring at Tarmalac, before looking back to the lady orc. "Attacking without everyone not only will get yourselves killed, but potentially everyone in Cinerosa too, we CAN'T give the worms more bodies."
The lady orc glowers down back to Eleanor, "Then lets get everyone back in here this INSTANT and we fight. I am Vadgral, leader of this war party and I refuse to die like a coward. I say we kick over this barricade, and fight till our last breath before they get a chance to regroup."
Tarmalac snarls back. "my people were injured in the last attack, we need her to heal us up." He says pointing to NAomi. "Wait for the next attack, THEN we can go for it. Or do you remember your war party being twice as large an hour ago?"
Eleanor sicks herself close to the orc, taking a deep breath. "Look, I spent time in the Underdark, and fought shit like this before... I only know one thing about them... You fight them and lose? Thats no heroic death, you're getting twisted for eternity until someone else kills you." She says before looking back to Tarmalac, "If we wait longer, I can try to stay watch over the barricade, but we risk it breakin down and bein at a disadvantage with people waking up mid attack. Do you think thats worth the risk?"
Tarmalac thinks upon Eleanor's words for a few moments before nodding. "I think that sounds reasonable." With Vadgral looking back to Eleanor, crossing her arms. "I don't know you, but... if you words are true, a more honorable fight is one that includes victory... Very well..."
During the commotion, Ayame holds out her hand to Ofec. "Allow me to read your tome... conider it a gesture of good faith."
"I don't think you could." Ofec resonds. "Even if I would, this book means the world to me. It would be like trusting you with my child and I haven't known you long enough for that. I wouldn't even trust Ironclaw with the book." He says, nodding to his bodyguard.
"Hmm.." Says Ayame. "Very well." Before gesturing to Sebastian, who immediately takes position directly before the barricade, ready for intruders.
Eleanor lets out a sigh of relief. "Okay, good. Whoever's still healthy and not tired can stay up with me, we'll kep watch, everyone else can rest. The risk if the barrier fallin but one plan is better than none. If all goes well, we all fell something capble of destroying Cinerosa. I think that'll be quite the victory." She says before looking to Naomi. "You should find a place to rest right away. I'm as healthy as ever so I'll be stayin up."
"I only need an hour to meditate and I should be ready." Naomi says plopping onto the floor, sitting in the lotus position, laying her staff in her lap. "If need be, We can make do with what I can cast now."
Eleanor chuckles slightly, loosening up now that things are more coherent in the group, but stands guard at the barrier.

Twenty minutes later, the voices start calling back up to the groups. "Vagdral... you got us killed... some leader you are." "Tarmalac, you caused all of this by releasing our master." "Ofec... Why did you do this?"
At hearing his own noame, Ofec suddenly stands up and starts panicking. "Oh... OH NO... VOG MOR HAS DONE IT... WE NEED TO KILL THAT CREATURE RIGHT NOW!" he yells in sheer terror. He runs up to Naomi, taking her hands into his. "PLEASE.. PLEASE YOU HAVE TO KILL IT, IT CAN DESTROY ALL OF OUR SPELLS AT ONCE, EVEN YOURS! YOU HAVE TOO!"
Naomi shakes herself out of her meditation, confused by the screaming necromancer holding her hands. "A-are you mad? I need to recuperate, what's this about?!"
"Ofec... Ofec... Ofec... Why?" Calls the voice from beyond the barricade.
Ofec drops to his knees, sobbing in fear, and curling up into a ball, holding onto his book as Eleanor approaches him and Naomi. "Oi... That books not just for undead is it." She says darkly.
"Some necromancer..." Ayame mutters, shaking her head while Sebastian draws his sword, his gaze fixated on the barricade.
Naomi shakes ofec. "Just say what's in the cursed book already! I need to know what I'm fighting here damn it!" She says grabbing him by the shoulders, simultaneously frustrated and serious while she shakes him.
"No... NO... NOOOOO!" Ofec shouts while he maintains a dealthy grip onto his book, seemingly clinging to the last shred of sanity he has remaining.
Vadgral and another orc, an older one make their way to the barricade. "Look, if we only need to kill one creature we can work together to take it out quickly." Says the male. "Minimal risk if its that dangerous."
Ayame thinks for a moment. "I can get you over the zombies to the main opponent..."
"Howso?" Asks Vadgral.
Eleanor snaps at the orcs, "You two fucking hold it!" She says turning back to Ofec. "Hey, necromancer. I don't know what you did, but if we don't have every edge against this Vog Mor, we might all be joining them. Answer us. Do. You. Know. More?"
"Ooooooooooofeeeeec." Calls out the voice again, while ofec covers his ears, sobbing.
Naomi tisks and stands up. "Eleanor, this situation isn't going to hold much longer. As muc has I'd love to be fully recovered, this is the best we're going to get."
Eleanor tisks as well, but looking towards Ofec. "You brought this place here didn't you? You fucking iditot." She says grabbing him, "Why is that book so important? Can't you at LEAST say that?" She says taking the book, Ofec sobbing too much to fight back finally. "This is the most honorable thing you've done this whole time." She says looking over the book. "We'll resolve this Ofec, regardless of what you've done, no one deserves that fate." She says letting him go.
As Eleanor lets him go, he rushes over to the barricade, slinging spell after spell as he can, be it illusion or a plume of flame over the wall before collapsing into the barricade and sobbing unconsolably.
Eleanor, ignoring his outburst, opens the book, only to reveal... the entire book is blank. She squints at the book as she flips through it, to confirm her suspicions. "Fuck... Book's empty, must've been a one time use thing of some sort...."
"Either that or it was just sentimental to him..." Ayame offers.
Ironclaw speaks up. "It was his master... Its his master that was calling his name from beyond the barricade."
"Ah... what a shame." ayame says, pulling Ofec back from the barricade with her magic, just as an undead hand tried to grab him.
Tarmalac looks to Ironclaw with a raised brow. "His master? Ofec lead me on that he was the best necromancer in town."
Ironclaw shakes his head. "Ofec was no more of an apprentice than I... but he was jealous and killed master Thimothy."
"Huh..." Ayame says, setting ofec down in a back corner of the cave away from the barricade. I feel a little less bad for him now but still... he clearly regrets it."
Ironclaw makes his way to his sobbing companion and pats his shoulder. "Its ok... I understand, and there was no way to know his death would have lead to this..." Ofec sobs and shoos ironclaws hand away from him, as both of the other parties look at the pitiful necromancer with pure disdain.
"T-that book was supposed to control og Mor... but that fucker Thimothy kept the secret with him to the grave... Vog more will kill you all." He says huddling himself up against the wall, in a corner all by himself. Feeling bad, Ayame gently takes the book from Eleanor, and gives it back to the pittiful apprentice.
After some brief discussions on potentially going in and fighting Vog Mor, all parties decide to allow everyone to get some rest.
Another half hour goes by, and the human woman makes her way from the Iron Rings side of the cave to speak to the older orc, who introduced himself as Nezzek to those gathered, and starts talking to him. Eleanor watches the interaction from a distance, allowing her companions to rest. She watches as the girl chats with Nezzek, smiling and touching her hand to his shoulder, where Nezzek just brushes her hand off of him.
The girl frowns and makes her way back to the iron rings side of the cave, before Tarmalac makes his own way over, also whispering to Nezzek and motioning to the barracks for the orcs.
Concerned, Eleanor looks to Ayame. "I'll be back in a moment." She says, walking over to Tarmalac and Nezzek. "I hate bein nosy, but we're jumpin into a fucked up fight soon, hopin there's no issues?"
Tarmalac looks to Eleanor and shakes his head as Nezzek stands up. "A quick discussion on matters after this is all over." He says with a smile. "A positive thing is all."
Eleanor lets out a sigh of relief, "Was a lil worried, but my only concern is the fight ahead of us. I won't pry further, just make sure yall're ready for the present too." She gives a wave and heads back to guard Naomi while she meditates.
After a brief moment, the rest of the orcs from inside the cave make their way back out, sitting near Vadgral. After a few minutes, one of the orcs stands up and points to another. "YOU HAVE FOOD!" he shouts "EVERYONE WAS TO SHARE YOU TRAITOR!" He shouts out and a brawl breaks out between the four remaining orcs, one of which holds a piece of jerky in his hand.
Eleanor gets directly in the middle of the fight, and with her strength alone, breaks it up, pushing everyone apart. "HEY HEY HEY! Do you idiots want do die the stupidest deaths ever and not even in a proper fucking battle?! We're fighting soon, deal with grievances AFTER that!"
She successfully breaks up the fight, but the meat fell onto the floor and qquickly rots away, with the orcs dividing away from each other further apart. Unhappy, but they are quiet for now.
Eleanor lets out a groan. "Good, beat each other up after yall survive this. Gods." She says heading back to her post with a headache.
A few minutes later, Tarmalac comes back out of the orcs cave and back to the iron rings cave. "I need to check on my men." He says while Bruno stands up, and joins him, chattering about the entire way as they go. Bruno turning back and giving the party a thumbs up just before they make their way in. Several more minutes pass, and with no attack on the barricade yet, Nahemah opens her eyes. "I am ready." She says as she stands out of the lotus position.
"Good, lets get to it then." Ayame says as Eleanor nods.
"Fantastic, just need to wait on the others now." Eleanor says as three members of the iron rings come out of the cave, one with a fresh slash over his face. Tarmalac and Bruno make their way out as well, approaching the party. "Sorry there was ahh... a bit of a misunderstanding." tarmalac says. "Two people woke up from the rest, claiming others had stolen their stuff so... there was a skuffle."
"Why say sorry to us?" Ayame says coldly. "Its you who might die for your stupidity."
Almost on cue, there is banging over and over again on the barricade... A pair of fists, ten pairs of fists... fifteen... Everyone begins to draw their weapons. "Looks like a big wave this time..." Tarmalac says, looking anxious.
"Fuck, looks like its not waiting, everyone get ready!" She says holding up her greataxe Cassandra.
As everyone gets into position, the banging on the wall goes quiet. Suddenly, six large tentacles burst forth from the ceiling and bash down the barricade with no effort, and a hoard of these abominable undead are revealed, with worms spewing forth from their eyes as they funnel into the room, ready for combat. Behind them... A titanic creature nearly twenty feet tall with tentacles for arms and legs, with two more protruding out of his back. His mouth gapes open letting out a vicious roar, showing rows upon rows of shark like teeth, while his bulbous form is covered in demonic runes... Vog Mor has awoken.
