The banshee and Neverwinter and all that's in between

General Summary

The party, having dispatched of the rest of the Bugbear, settled down for the night in the forest east of the Tresandar Manor. They still had one Bugbear that they had captured and lay tied up in the night. In the morning, Aur decided to give him an honorable death and fought him in a single combat duel. @Aur felled him but took a good amount of hits, and the bugbear drew his last breath in satisfaction.    Bob had convinced Halia Thornton that piles of treasure lay waiting for her under @Tresandor Manor. That, along with the group having assisted her goals by killing the leader of the ruffians, gained enough trust to acquire two steeds from her crew.    They headed off to the ruins of Conyberry. When they arrived, they discovered an Owlbear prowling the rubble. The party successfully evaded it and followed a small discreet foot path further north into the Neverwinter Woods. In a small dome hut seemingly made from the forest, they found Agatha, the banshee that Sister Garaele had asked them to get information from. When presented with the silver comb, Agatha gave them the information they requested; @BowGentle's spellbook was sold to a necromancer named Tsernoth in the city of Iriaebor.    Getting the information they needed for Sister Garaele, they leave Conyberry and make there way south to the area that was supposed to hold the troublesome orcs. They easily noticed Wyvern Tor, but when they arrived they quickly realized they were heavily overwhelmed. @Aur and @Bob took turns being unconscious while fleeing the tribe, while @Caelum shot arrows from afar. They fled for several miles before ensuring they weren't still being followed, then camped for the night.    In the morning, they decided to make their way back to Phandalin, but met another friendly face on the way. Frank the Tank was seeking the same orcs they were, and they decided to give it another shot. This time around, they caught the intimidating Org alone with only one other orc. They dispatched of them easily and then had a much better time clearing out the camp at Wyvern Tor, though the fight did start out on a bad note of @Aur air diving into the @Orc's campfire. They looted the camp and then @Bob and @Caelum had a small tussle in the large outhouse, resulting in Bob getting thrown in. Although extremely smelly, @Bob flight cause him to find a small pouch of wooden blocks with small runes on each of them.    They then made their way back to Phandalin, this time, with more success at their backs and in their pockets. Harbin Wester, the Townmaster, tried to low-ball the gold that was promised, but was eventually coerced to give the agreed amount. When they left the Phandalin Town Hall, they found their previously two tied up horses, nowhere to be found. While Bob made his way to the Stonehill Inn, Caelum made a b-line towards the Phandalin Miner's Exchange. There he found Halia Thornton, who explained that his horses 'probably' disappeared due to the lies weaved into the initial trade. @Caelum convinced her that his horse was still traded fairly, and was able to get his steed returned to him. Halia Thornton also asked him to help the good of Phandalin by getting some crafting supplies in a very small settlement in the southwest @Neverwinter Woods. She also stated that is would be the most helpful if the group were to continue their investigation on @Gundren Rockseeker.    They quickly found Sister Garaele and told her of the information they recieved.    @Aur self-chose the important quest to change out the org toe that @Bob acquired, with a potato look-a-like. Him and @Caelum searched around town for a farmer but surprisingly had a difficult time finding one in this small village. They decided to also head to the tavern and actually found a good stockpile of potatoes just brought in. @Aur searched and found one that he decided to work on. @Caelum however, chose to antagonize the head chef and got knocked unconscious by a well placed pan. @Aur grabbed the potato and @Caelum and brought them both the the seating area. He began work on carving it while @Caelum woke up and headed up to see @Bob.    @Caelum confronted @Bob at the top of the tavern and told him to go talk to Halia Thornton. @Bob refused and they eventually came to blows. MEanwhile, @Aur managed to reflect both the smell and the looks of the original @Org toe, whjich he kept for himself. While @Caelum and @Bob got heated, @Aur quietly went over to the bookshelf where the toe was and switched it out seamlessly.
