12: Uh oh Dragon Report

General Summary

Stunned by the dragon, Iris sits in silence until the dark green dragon says hello. She responds in kind, and the dragon comments on her smelling familiar. He asks if she knows Lucetta and Iris confirms, and teh dragon follows up asking where Lucetta has gone. Iris says she doesn't know, and at this point the rest of the Champions wake up. Garrisund does an alligator roll, Uguz sits tight, and Amnur questions the dragon in Draconic as to why he was here. The dragon tells him he's here because of Iris in Draconic. The dragon then tells him his name is Naezor, and that he can be found by the ruins on the northern edge of the Baumwald forest. Telling them to let him know if they find Lucetta, he takes off into the night. The group then spend the night talking about their knowledge of dragons, with Iris sharing her friendship with Lucetta the silver dragon and Uguz mentioning his former mercenary captain- Zor Deathgrip- hunts dragons on the side. The group then goes back to sleep.   In the morning the group head back to Silvium. On the way, they spot a small campsite with two tents. Uguz pokes his head in one, spotting a snoring Halfling. The Halfling awakes with a start, and quickly dresses and emerges from his tent. He introduces himself as Turkle the Explorer, while Uguz pokes his head into the other tent. He sees a Human woman, who tells him to get his nose outta her tent, gol'durnit. She then emerges and introduces herself as Jenny the Cartographer. They explain that they work together to make highly accurate maps. Offering their maps at a discount, Amnur declines since they already have a map. Taking a look, she begins cry-laughing at it, explaining its a map from nearly 25 years ago without accurate measurements on the landscape. As a kind gesture, she gives them a copy of a County Est map, explaining that more focused maps can hold more details. They happily accept the map, but decline to buy more as they cost 1,000gp each. The group ask them about any dragon sightings, to which they respond they only heard one last night possibly. The groups then say their goodbyes, expressing they can meet in the Travelers Rest if they want more maps.   Returning to Silvium, they get a 100gp reward for their Knoll hunting. With their party fund nearing 3,000gp, they decide to look into buying a home in Silvium. After some shopping around, they decide to buy a nice two-story home, naming it the Champions Rest. Iris busies herself decorating her room with flowers, Amnur gathers supplies for a housewarming party, Uguz looks around town for a fighting league, and I can't remember what Garrisund was doing, sorry Thatcher :( .
