Session Four: Good Godfried!

General Summary

The group splits up. Silmer went to bed. George was still sleeping. Nesza, Vence and Malak went to the Drunken Dwarf. April, Mia and Corvus went to the Spire of Knowledge.   A stranger bumps into Malak as the group is walking and hands Malak a book he allegedly dropped.     The Drunken Dwarf   At the Drunken Dwarf, the guys have some drinks. Vence promises to take Malak to meet Juliona Godfried at her residence.   Vence then gets annoyed with the sub-par bard's music and hi-jacked the performance by singing the Soldier's Chant. The whole tavern joins in. The performance piques the interest of another bard, a famous performer named Cissa. She comes over to introduce herself.   Cissa recognises Malak by name, explaining that Corvus has mentioned him before. When Malak mentions that Corvus was at the Spire of Knowledge, Cissa leaves abruptly.   After a few more drinks, the three head back to the Gold Dragon Inn.     Spire of Knowledge   At the Spire of Knowledge, Molly refers to Mia as "Mia d'Lyrandar". April goes to look up books on Social Interactions. Mia and Corvus headed to the fairy tales section (the only place that seems to have information about the effects on the Sporing). They find a book called "Toadstools are not Cool" by Oliver Frog, which underlines caution when licking certain toadstools   Cissa meets up with the group, much to the annoyance of Corvus. But once she is introduced to April, she refers to April as Valarie Godfried. Intrigued, especially when she finds out that both April and Mia were looking for the Godfrieds, Cissa offers to take the group to Juliona Godfried after they meet with Prince Wrogar the next day.   April then remains at the library a bit longer to look up Mai Yasha wines before heading back to the inn.   Mia and Corvus head to the palace, where Corvus is reunited with Jurian (and Mia listens in).     The Gold Dragon Inn   Meanwhile, George wakes up after having a long talk with Mom and other people in his head. Nesza hears George whisper "God-feed" and checked up on him. George seemed physically stronger than before .   The two go downstairs for George to eat. The chef was not very happy with ensuing the raid of his kitchen. Nesza gives two of the berries to George, who became immediately full. Before going back to bed, George mentions to Nesza that Mom told him "Godfried"     Meeting with Wrogar   The next morning, the group meet at the palace. Corvus leads the group to the Receiving Room where Wrogar, Conrad and Jurian are waiting. Wrogar explains there was an attack in Windshire that might be linked to the attack on the train (although it's not completely certain if they are) He asks the group to look into it and possibly quell an upcoming rebellion. For more information and possible assistance, he introduces the group to Captain Tatalla d'Lyrandar. She is, at first, distracted (and delighted) by the fact that Silmer is alive and well. After a happy (and very annoyed) reunion and a quick wave to her cousin (Mia), she introduces herself as the captain of the airship "Silverbird".   Tatalla explains she was contacted by Jenny Windchaser, who reported a ship being attacked by Sicklemen. A fellow Lyrandar captain was killed and some of the crew. One human (Valarie Highthorn) was taken prisoner and another human (Ethan Highthorn) is safe but injured.   There was mention of "distributing vials" but it's unknown if these vials are the same as the vials from the train. Although, based on answers that Jamie gave during his interrogation, Conrad strongly believes they are.   Tatalla will be heading to Windshire in two days time. Wrogar asks the group if they could join her. A few members of the group immediately agree to help. But one or two still wished to discuss this further with the group. Corvus agrees to bring word on the final decision.     Juliona Godfried   Outside the receiving room, the group agree to discuss the matter further but to first visit Juliona Godfried, as it is established most of the group need to see her.   Corvus tries to avoid having Cissa take them but the group insist on not leaving a lady waiting. The group meet Cissa, who is intrigued by both Silmer and (especially) George. She skips ahead, leading the group to the house. And then disappears. April knocks on the door of the Godfried residence, and Juliona answers. She promptly faintswhen she sees April.   Once she comes to, and realises who she's actually looking at, she gives April a huge hug and lets her (and the rest of the group) into the house. She shows interest in quite a few of the party members. She stops Mia though and asked her why she's there. Mia, without introducing herself, explains she might know her mother, Illyria. Juliona welcomes Mia by name and ushers her inside.
