Episode I: Jungles of Rodia Report

General Summary

In this episode, our group of soon to be heroes were employed by a powerful Rodian man, Ranem Tivv to head into the jungle to find a missing research team, recover their data, and to find and bring the data cache back. They were given a small amount of credits to buy supplies for their trip. They purchased several things including: hired help, glow rods, field rations, and macrobinoculars.   Our group of adventurers headed to the Chekkoo enclave to start their search for the lost research team, as well as Dr. Tan. Together they found their methods to track these researchers relied on help from the locals and so they hired: Jeedo and Jaro, two Rodian Hunters hired for their tracking knowledge and survival skills.   During their travels they happened upon a Mausoleum in the jungle and saw a dirty blonde haired human male and a rodian girl visiting the tomb. The group did not try to converse with them, but did identify that they were up to something in the jungle. By the end of the first day the group stumbled upon the destroyed camp of Dr. tan and her research team, finding many destroyed electronics, tents, and a holotruck. While searching the scene, they were ambushed by a small group of Tribal Longspine Rodians, who attacked with primitive spears. The group of outsiders quickly won with their weapons set to stun.   Jeedo and Jaro decided to bury the bodies of the tribesman and then head back to the Chekkoo Enclave, unhappy with the pay and the killing of lesser Rodians. Along with them, Skerwy decided to also head back to the Chekkoo Enclave to report back to their employer, Ranem Tivv of what had occurred and provide information of the location of the destroyed camp.   Before the end of the Episode we followed the group as they followed the tracks of the recent attackers to their camp farther to the west along a large river and a roaring waterfall. Here they planned for how to infiltrate the camp in hopes of freeing Dr. Tan and another figure in a hanging cage.
