Session 5 Report - Is that a snake in you're pants or are you happy to see me? AKA The great boar family massacre.

General Summary

The party rents 2 rooms in Naomuras. They sneak Branch in through the window. Gromp gromp and Inva play a set and earn free ale for the next day. "Quarterling on the half shelf." refers to Isaris and her odd half-halfling half-human appearance. Shuly and Tallbert have a arm wrestling contest, roll nothing but 1s. Shuly wins in the third round. They made a couple gold.     Inva disguised as wood elf to go to the temple of pelor. Found out that the rock is tied to Lady Doom and that there may be ways to negate the effects. Lucky items may help, as might lucky situations, etc. Rin tries to sell the temple the rock but Delgian explains they don't have the kind of money he is likely looking for, but she will send a message to the head temple to see if they would want to purchase such an evil thing. She says she will send a message immediately and should have an answer by tonight. Inva decided to test the stone and has Tallbert cast Protection from Good and Evil on him. He then grabs the rock and tries to attune with it, which causes him to feel weaker and more sickly. Tallbert sees a physical change in Inva and knocks his elbow to break his grip right as Inva hears soft laughter and "I see you". Delgian gives Gromp Gromp the name of a witch - Kaine - who lives in the forest and may be able to provide "lucky items". 

Gromp Gromp gets a necklace of 4 rabbits feet with 4 mysterious potions poured on them. One of them was identified as essence of rainbow.

Rin purchases 3 flasks of alchemists fire.

  The group tracked the dire boar from the river bank to their den. There they murder a boar family. Talbert casts "speak with animals" and hears the giant boar yell "Leave my husband alone!" and the little boars crying "Mommy! Daddy!" The party murdered every last boar. Or did they?   They got paid 700 gp from Noamurua for the meat. Rin mentioned they killed a whole den of them so Noamurua told to talk to "Cam". Maybe he would give the party a reward for riding the town of a den of dire boars. Cam is impressed by the group killing a whole den and with a good persuasion doesn't demand proof, instead pays 75 gp a head as a reward (375).   The party spent the remainder of the day transporting boar meat, running any errands they needed, then enjoying a feast of roasted boar in the evening prepared by Inva.
