Session 12 - Amon Lightbringer Report
Notes
When we returned to the city from the Mountains of Wind we used the Merhcant's Entrance.
Fearless and Horncarver went back to The Golden Griffin for a good night's rest
The city guards wear red & grey colours, Lady Eredith's guards wear blue & grey
We're approached by a cloaked man with a scarred face at the bridge leading to The Slums
- He asked about
The Light Bringers
- Smodi intimidates him using telepathy
- He's looking for information, not a fight
Rebecca is a blonde
- seemed happy to see Arodeyr despite the encounter earlier in the morning with her mother
We all rest up and start a new day nice and fesh
The barmaid's mother was quite amicable to Arodeyr in the morning
We have a breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, and coffee while Amon finally fills us all in
- While he was in prison he escaped and went to the bank
- he posted a note saying he had copies of
Lady Eredith's documents, threatening that her "secrets would come to light"
- He admitted to the bank robbery, and when pressed also admitted to the murder
- He didn't admit to killing Bren
Dacso, Smodi and Raas head to The Amethyst Bank to check on what treaure Kemok left for us
- They are met with friendliness from the
Amethyst Bank Manager
- They're told that the gold is largely kept off-site
- with interest we now have exactly 89'178gp
- there are a few items that weren't given a gold value
- We can withdraw up to 50'000gp without notice, half a days notice for more
- There was a letter from Kemok and a druid scroll (skywrite)
Amon (disguised as Dacso), Henrietta, and Arodeyr head to the Mining Guild
- Along the way Arodeyr pauses to ask Amon a few more questions, mostly regarding why he did what he had
- Henrietta is incredibly silent about it
- Harlan thanks us, says we will start receiving profits fro mthe mine once its operational
- It'll get deposited directly into our account
- A young dwarf named Toramir was asking about Amon
- We told him that Amon frequents
The Sapphire Shores
- Arodeyr considers if that was actually a good idea and decides to head to
Theresa's place to set it up as a sort of safe house
- This also allows Amon to disguise himself as Dacso
Guards have "closed off this part of the city"
- its a mix of city guards and
Lady Eredith's personal guards
- One of the ambushers is
Vel Curden
- He was using a tracker again to find Amon, but the tracker only stuck around to find him, not to fight
- Amon kills Vel, then surrenders himself to the guards
Lady Eredith is waiting in th emiddle of the courtyard for Amon
- She tells Amon to denounce the Light Bringers
- When he doesn't she kills him, disinitgrating him with a bright white light
- She claimed to be speaking on behalf of the King
Arodeyr grabbed Amon's mask off of the ground
And so ends the story of Amon Lightbringer
Smodi uses the scroll from Kemok to write "The Lightbringers Live" in the sky all over Porion and used the dragon scale to inspire the people to revolt against the nobles
We ended the session in The Golden Griffin with Torbin sitting us down for a much needed drink
