The Gems of Porion Campaign

Porion - The City of Gems - is a sprawling industrious city filled with nobles, mages, thieves and tricksters. The city was founded over 2,000 years ago by an alliance of Humans and Elves, since then with the ambition of the Humans and the dedication of the Elves, Porion has become a centre for trade and invention with members of all races living within the city's great walls.   To the North of the city is the Porisian Forest, a vast expanse of forest and jungle which houses countless farmsteads, towns and creatures. To the East of the city lies the coast with little but dry barren land. To South and West are the main trade routes, linking Porion to other major trade hubs; on these roads travel Merchants, Mages and everything in-between.   A year ago the Porisian Forest was devastated by wildfires, disrupting trade and ruining livelihoods. Those not in positions of nobility have lost the most, and as always follows tragedy, there are those who would seek to profit from it.   You are an adventurer who has recently arrived to the East of Porion on a ship from your homeland after receiving an intriguing letter from a person you know only as Torbin. You carry with you a copy of this letter and on your way to Porion you have met other adventurers who have also received this letter, bound by your common quest to find this 'Torbin' and unearth the secrets of his communication you walk the dry lands towards the City of Gems.   Your reasons for coming to the city are your own, the choices you make will determine who you meet and what areas you explore, mysteries, battle and adventure await you.
