Session 92: Dusk To Dawn, Husk to Brawn Report

General Summary

After the day preparing, and after sleeping through the afternoon, the party woke at 03:00 in the early dark to head in to the castle without Paeddyr, whom they had discovered was planning to betray them, thanks to using divine boons and a commune with The Source to learn the truth of the plots involved. Using a Divine Boon to appear as Paeddyr, Roisin persuaded her uncle's men guarding a secret entrance to go watch the city gate for the night instead. After following the twisting tunnels Boris had discovered via divine magic earlier, with Jeeves squeezing through the narrow passageways with a bit of help from Boris when he got stuck, they spent a minute preparing (including using several consumables to protect themselves), then quietly began sneaking through the undercroft until they could find their way up to the ground level where Boris' divinations had shown Siobahn's throne room. Arriving on the ground floor in the north-east of the castle, they could hear movement in the next room, and readied themselves to face whatever might be there.
