Session LVII: Siege on Khenitra Report

General Summary

The Magnificent Misfits prepare for the oncoming siege. As Gruumsh' forces are slowly approaching Khenitra. They spend 8th preparing. Baronk had contacted Hamas in order to ask for his help. And after a quick negotiation, Hamas was eager to lend aid to his friends. He would arrive the next evening with 2 amulets against proof of detection and location and a lamp of revealing (all very expensive magic items).   Surely enough during the 9th, the MM were preparing, ready for an attack. The turret had been mounted atop the wall next to the fortress. The vine walls were set up around the tents and they were ready for a battle. But alas no fight came that day. But Hamas did follow through on his promise, showing up with Virion, his husband, for dinner. They exchanged the magic items and had words about the plans they have for Gruumsh, as well as the appropriate amount of small talk.   But the 10th came around as all of them were awoken to the sounds of the war horns. The enemy was here, right on their doorstep. They fought long and hard, defeating hordes of goblins and orcs. Not to mention the great animated trees that had it out for the wall or the giant bombing spaceship that was trying to fly overhead into the town. But they were victorious, defeating every single enemy. Not without too much strife as they managed to lose one of their beloved companions, Dusk. Who had taken a boulder to it's precarious Kitsune body. But Axton, with help of Baronk was able to bring it back to life. Reuniting them with the party.
