Session 4 Report

General Summary

Dan Sagittarius climbed down into an old kitchen and came up with a few items of interest (the Ball of Glory, Heward's Handy Spice Pouch, and a sword that seemed to work on gravity in reverse). The group then unlocked a secret drawer under the bed and a secret safe in the closet, finding more hidden items and some treasure. During this process, Dan twice caught glimpses of something monstrous, once in a mirror and once while he was coming back to consciousness after losing consciousness to a trap.   A closer examination took place of the murals in the Great Hall.   The group went through the loot thus far gathered and divided it according to preference, then settled down for a long rest.   On first watch, Valery Calliou heard a creature moving in the Great Hall and carefully checked it out, waking up Dan so he could listen in. Mind-bogglingly, Dan and Val went to follow the creature, actually climbing down to pursue it. The creature heard them and came back, at which time they threw a bag of spices at it. It attacked Dan and nearly killed him, and Val and Dan made enough of a ruckus that everyone else woke up and damaged the creature enough for it to run. During  this time, it displayed the ability to teleport between corpses.   Finally, a long rest was had.   Except that Hiram Snolti Shaw had a dream that he was a huge blue underwater party dragon, and in the meantime, he dragged a lot of other people into the dream. ????   After they woke up, everyone was like "huh, that was weird."   Then Alexandria Gaeralagos went to sleep and dreamed of Zed whispering to her that she was so close to finding the secret of the fortress. Elni Longwind showed up in that dream, and then they both woke up. End of game!
