Max and Ghost met with Jerry to assess him for joining the New Champions. While they chatted by a park, Rex looked on from behind a cup of coffee in the cafe across the street. Kydee happened to also be nearby shopping with her daughter for some school supplies and clothes.
Suddenly down the street, there was an explosion from the side of a building and a flaming man walk out onto the sidewalk carrying a small safe and then took off into the air, leaving a trail of flames behind him. Shortly after, he was followed by a well-muscled He-Man of an Arian, who looked about to survey the situation.
The heroes, all caught outside of their heroic visage, scrambled to find a place to engage their heroic costumes and powers, as this flaming character was clearly up to no good! Kydee hurried to get her daughter [[Yuba]] to the safety of the limo and away from danger. Jerry did a "Tasmanian Devil" and was instantly in his outfit, speeding off toward the action. Max and Ghost ducked behind, or flew up into, a tree to quickly change forms and costumes. Rex tottered off around the corner into an alley to engage his armored suit from the cover of a dumpster.
Jerry arrived first near the flaming fighter, and immediately took fire from him. Literally. Luckily the gout of flame missed him. So Li'l Rocket turned his attention to trying to help innocents get out of harm's way. That didn't go well as the villain surrounded him in a wall of flame, scorching several people around him he was trying to shuttle to safety.
Ghost moved in right after and slammed the lit German from his place in the sky, in a single shot, into slumberland on a nearby roof. She said something to him, but he didn't have a radio so didn't hear it as his lights went out (but his flames remained on, of course).
Meanwhile, Rex continued his slow journey down the alley fumbling for the nanite control unit to activate his suit. The coffee was not helping.
The big bodybuilder ran a few steps and leaped into the air at Ghost to grab her, but overshot his mark. However, the Visigoth turned right back around and jumped back up to ensnair her, and made a move to rip her limbs from her body. Having survived the attempt with limbs still attached, Ghost silently drove the haughty german into the corner of the building the flamer was napping on, stunning the poor muscle man.
Ah, but this was apparently not an ordinary building. This was a NAGA garage.
Full of verhicles.
