Session 8: End With a Flourish Report

General Summary

The group chases after Armin who was kidnapped by an Umber Hulk. As they get further down into the Enborne Darks, they find the Umber Hulk resting and recuperating from their last battle. Armin appears to have been imprisoned in a formation of rocks. As they are pulling Armin from his imprisonment, they finish off the Umber Hulk, only to have a Behir emerge out of the underground spring.   The group engages the Behir in combat, only to have Armin, turn and attack Biri during the fight. It is revealed that this 'Armin' is a doppelganger and the real Armin is trapped further into the cavern. They are able to release the real Armin and defeat the Behir and doppelganger. As they are searching the doppelganger's belongings, they discover a letter addressed from the Broken Lord. It is a contract to kill the Northlands Expeditionary Team and to specifically kill Lydia Hargreave if the chance presents itself.   The group decides to hunker down and take a deserved long rest.   8 hours have passed
