Session 15: Traversing to the Point of No Return Report

General Summary

The group travels farther down the icy caverns leading to the Throne. Along the way they squeeze through icy passages and find a icy necropolis that is guarded by an ice giant, Hromgar, who appears to be wounded and along.    The group finds that he was put here by the Storm King to guard the necropolis and the Throne therein. The giant informs the group that Apanath had his servants construct the necropolis hundreds of years before so that no-one could attempt to control it. Not long before the group came upon the frost giant, he was attacked by Gnolls and Vampires. Biri offered him some healing and sealed some of his open wounds.   As thanks, he gave her a small blessing for constitution for 24 hours. The group rests before entering the necropolis and makes pleasant conversation with the giant before heading in. Using the platinum rod in their possession as a key into the old structure.   As they stealthily make their way past Gnolls and Vampires traversing the darkness, Biri, against the groups initial intentions, aids and stabilizes a Gnoll on the verge of death. After finding their way out of the temple and running from a gelatinous cube, they find themselves in the icy crater where the throne resides. They sneak up and prepare to engage with a group of Vampires and Gnolls fighting for the Throne.   Before they begin their assault, they are scryed on by Gren Grayben. He messages Biri and Armin to inquire about their current location.
