Session 14: Double Barrel Trouble Report

General Summary

April 14, 2022  

• The group goes barreling down the river, which proves to be a challenge for Jinx, but eventually we catch up with Will and the other kids in a hidden cave. They agree to take us to their hideout to discuss further and we find Star there! They agree to let Star come back with us so she can be reunited with her mother.
  
  
• We learn that Granny Nightshade is using children for labor and has kids trapped in her home. Will lays out a plan for us to rescue the kids and tells us all of the dangers to look out for such as the tin soldiers and the boggles. One of the kids tells us about the unicorn Lamorna, who Will seems to not like, and we decide to go visit the unicorn to see if they can help provide any helpful insight for us to add to the plan.
  
  
• Zinnor suggests we need a unicorn costume to be able to speak to Lamorna, and Clyde crafts the perfect one. We travel to the lake where she lives and Jinx, Clyde, and Savrial wear the costume. They use Clyde’s water freezing abilities to float across to the islet in the center while Fen swims.
  
  
• Lamorna appears and tells us her power was stolen by the hags as well as her mate, Eladon. They stole his horn and trapped Zybilna in her fortress, and his horn is needed to free her. She thinks one of the hags has Eladon held hostage and Zybilna’s fortress is in Yon, which a dandelion named Amidor can help us get to.
  
  
• Before we can learn anything more, Lamorna is attacked by a hooded figure that turns out to be Sarvrial’s brother, Aslan. Aslan knocks out Savrial trying to kill them, and while Fen managed to bring Savrial back to consciousness, it seems Aslan has managed to escape.
