Dark Moon Rising

General Summary

Arriving near a bank of the Flesh Drops Gorge, the group used Niktaor's Wish to Resurrect Sora, getting her up to speed on what's transpired since her death. Following this brief reunion, following Genji's lead, they headed West and reached the river of flesh. With Benkei's help they took the sky and began flying over the gorge, out of reach of the many fiendish creatures that inhabited it.    Reaching the other side, they encountered a pair of Udaak's, gargantuan ape-like creatures that were feasting on a Goristro. Though Niktaor was almost devoured the group made short work of the wandering fiends and harvested one of the Goristro's horns as well as a piece of the Udaak's crystalized emerald blood. Continuing to follow the crows in the area they soon came upon the web-filled entrance of Nyarlis' lair where they were ambushed. Though they were able to defeat the ancient Bebilith, Genji's armor was partially ruined and he was stricken by disease courtesy of Nyarlis' venom.   They entered the lair and came across the corpses of Hana, Miki, and Kayako, as well as what remained of Tamamo no Mae, who begged the group to put her out of her misery. Among some notes and star maps, Niktaor also found Lysander's spellbook that Laxius had taken from his body on the Isle of Lost Things. Following a tunnel into the mountain they came across dozens of skeletal undead and eventually emerged into a canyon somewhere in the Undying Peaks where they finally came face to face with Laxius.
