1.11 Fighting with Shadows

General Summary

Jacob decides to try and fly across the cavern to explore the bridge but stirs a group of giant bats that surround him, quickly taking him down. They continue to attack and try to eat him but are repulsed by his fiendish flesh and decide to move on and attack the others. Jacob fails his death saves and dies, being sent back to hell once against to a displeased Lady Melanthia who tells him that this will cost him. She sends him back.   A Shadow Demon appears, apparently a servant of Lord Galathrax, and demands they hand over Jacob to him or die. A fight ensues and they are able to overpower the demon who attempts to flee. Jacob manages to grapple the demon and asks his mistress to transport him back to hell. There is a flash of flame, and when it dissipates, Jacob and the demon have vanished.
