2.16 A New Quest Begins

General Summary

Cyril awakes with a hangover, and the party prepares for the journey north. There is an odd green glow spotted coming from the nearby tower, but the strangers choose not to investigate it. After preparations are complete, the party leaves sorrowhold with Taryn and her two companions, arriving at the now abandoned camp of Grujell some hours later.    Cyril becomes suddenly ill and falls unconcious (later to be discovered that he had been contacted in a vision by a mysterious woman who told told him to seek out the elves in Neverwinter who would know how to save the land from the Queen of Sorrows.   While Cyril is incapacitated, Jorn, Jacob and Kravek along with their new companions search the orc camp. They none other then the daughter of the trader Elmar Barthen in a hole in the ground, having been captured by the orcs and left their to die. Jorn rode back to Sorrowhold with her and returned her to her father, before promptly leaving and heading back to the camp, having never said a word.   Kravek searches the tent of Grujell and discovers two orc women waiting their, whom apparently had been the wives of the orcish warlord. He tells them that he has killed Grujell, and they tell him that they are now wives of Kravek. He discoveres the Heart of the Bluescale necklace.   On the rivers edge, the adventurers are ambushed by a hydra but manage to slay it. Finally, with the camp thoroughly searched, they head north along the riverbend, towards the town of Conyberry.
