S.11. The Coven Report
General Summary
During the long rest, the party took time to research and prepare for the coming confrontation with the hags. In the book they found in the citadel, they learned of an ancient hero who is said to have stopped an evil witch from terrorizing old Bisyl with the help of a powerful silver sword.
A.L. told Folke Ramsay what the nothic in the citadel told him of his creation, that he did in fact have a soul, however it was not his. It had been stolen and placed inside him.
Folke has had her worst nightmare yet, and is left permanently cursed because of the night hag's magicks.
The party went into The Dreadwood to search for the hags' lair with a strike team comprised of Lucianna's and their own men. Upon finding a large hollowed-out tree they assumed was the lair, the party entered to find a hostage woman claiming to be the real Lucianna. Upon the woman telling them they have walked into a trap, Lucianna's men attacked them under the charm of the annis hag's iron tokens. The party managed to free the men from the enchantment without killing any of them and learned from the real Lucianna, that she was taken hostage shortly before they arrived in town and that Camp Bisyl is likely under the direct control of a coven of hags.
