The Sword Coast
The Sword Coast is a region on the northwestern coast of Faerûn. While it comprised a rough landscape of rugged hills, precarious mountain ranges and dense forests, it is home to several like-minded towns and cities. The most prominent of these cities banded together with nearby allies to form the Lords' Alliance, which united much of the region.

Adabra Gwynn
Adabra Gwynn is a midwife and apothecary devoted to Chauntea (goddess of agriculture). She used to live in the Windmill on top of Umbrage Hill before it was attacked by a Manticore and a group of adventurers manipulated her into moving back to Phandalin. Since then, she has set up a small potion shop and is selling potions of healing for 50gp each. -
Elmar Barthen
The proprietor is Elmar Barthen, a lean and balding human male shopkeeper of fifty years with a kindly manner. He employs a couple young clerks (Ander and Thistle) who help load and unload wagons, and who wait on customers when Barthen isn't around. -
Gundren Rockseeker
Gundren Rockseeker is one of the three dwarf brothers who rediscovered Wave Echo Cave. after being rescused from Cragmaw Castle he needs to recover but is eager to venture to Wave Echo Cave to learn the fate of his brothers, Nundro and Tharden. He knows that someone called the Black Spider orchestrated his capture and hopes that the characters stop the villain. Gundren has offered the characters a 10 percent share of the mine's wealth once his operation there is up and running. -
Townmaster Harbin Wester
Harbin is a fat pompous, old fool of a banker who lives in a house east of the townmaster's hall. Reports of a white dragon in the area have turned him into a veritable shut-in, and he rarely goes outside except to get food and post new notices calling for adventurers. He was completely intimidated by the Redbrands, and claimed that they were "just a mercenary guild, and not all that much trouble, really." -
Toblen Stonehill
The proprietor is a short, friendly young human male named Toblen Stonehill. Toblen is a native of the town of Triboar to the east. He came to Phandalin to prospect, but soon realized that he knew a lot more about running an inn than he did about mining. The new town offered a good opportunity to become established. Toblen was upset that the Redbrands had been allowed to terrorize the town, and that Harbin Wester, the townmaster, had done nothing to curtail them. However, he tried not to stir up trouble for fear that the Redbrands might retaliate against his wife and children.

Season 2, Chapter 1:
After the White Dragon attacked Phandalin and the Society were sucessful in warding it off, there was significant repair work to be done. In return for the great efforts UNAS had put in, the Mayor was willing to pay their food and upkeep of the Manor House while they aided the townspeople. However, as the adventurers wake in the morning the Far Realm reaches out to one of the characters...
