Session 1: Arrival at Greenest Report
General Summary
The party arrived in Greenest only to find it under attack by a blue dragon, a mysterious band of raiders and their kobold lackeys.
- They saved Linan Swift and her family (husband + 3 children)
- The caravan reached the keep, but one of the carts and animals got taken away somewhere by the dragon.
- They met Governor Tarbaw Nighthill and the castellan Escobert the Red.
- Making use of the old tunnel, the party managed to surprise a group of raiders and take one prisoner.
- Even with prisoner in tow, the party discovered a massive force surrounding the temple to Chauntea, full of scared villagers inside.
- The group managed to take down a masked raider, loot his mask and a letter, then rescue the villagers back to the keep before the huge patrol spotted them.
- The prisoner was returned to Governor Nighthill who then proceeded to interrogate him.
- The group read the letter found in the masked raider, and learned there is a raider camp nearby.
- There was barely a moment to rest before the blue dragon attacked the keep once more, obliterating much of the guard force remaining.
- Though the adventurers were overwhelmed by the dragon, after it landed for a "closer look", it soon retreated...
- Finally, the raider's champion challenged the villagers to send out their mightiest warrior, in exchange for the release of some prisoners.
- The champion defeated the party's volunteer, but honoured their word and sent back the prisoners, among which was a healer.
