Appearance
Physical Description
Renwick stood with the poise of a warrior, yet his physique veered towards the lean and athletic.
Facial Features
Some would believe Renwick's slightly angular features to betray a possible elven ancestry, something the man had ever denied. His skin was beholden to a youthful glow still, fair but sunkissed. In stark contrast stood his eyes, reminiscent of the overcast skies in their tempestuous grey-and-blue. His wavy tresses fell just past his shoulder, mirroring the colours of the dwindling leaves of early autumn.

Personal history
Born a miller's son, Renwick was orphaned at an early age when a wasting sickness swept through the hamlet where his family made its home.Growing up in an orphanage, even at an early age the boy showed a remarkable talent for woodcutting that drew the attention of several local tradesmen. When one day the opportunity came to be taught under a master in the nearby city's carpenters' guild, it awoke in him that same adventurous spirit his father was said to possess in his younger years. Hoping to turn his life around, he sold his service as a porter to a trade caravan bound for the city where he would hope to find apprenticeship. Yet fortune was not kind to him that fateful day. Three days into the journey, the caravan was ambushed near the mountain pass by cruel roving highwaymen. Battle was swift and bloody,as the elderly traders were cut down unsuspectingly, where the young man likely faced a future in chains on the slave markets of Amn. So he ran, as fast as he could as he prayed to all the gods he knew that existed, to deliver him from this dire fate. Yet as his would be captors swiftly gained on him, a portentous event came to pass. Squinting his eyes against the blinding light
that seemed to come from all directions at once, he could barely make out the silhouette of a great white stag cresting the nearby hill. Then, horrified screams. And then, only darkness. When he opened his eyes again he found himself lying by the roadside, alone yet unharmed. Disoriented and distraught, he sprang up only to stumble upon a great oakentree on which a mysterious sigil was carved. There was something eerily compelling about it, and the strange symbol haunted his dreams for the two nights that followed. Then on the third night, with the moon as his witness, he swore a solemn oath to himself: to find out who or what it was that saved him, and seek out the sigil that compelled him so. When he chanced upon the errant crusader Ontharr Frume, the young man pledged himself into his service in hope to one day find the mystery behind the oakentree. An unwilling master at first, soon the man took a liking to the brash and impetuous youth, and they travelled together throughout Renwick's formative years. Ontharr taught him in the ways of the Gods and how to best serve them with steel, until the inexorable advance of the years brought about his retirement to a quiet farmstead. Now, at his aging master's behest, Renwick has arrived at the village of Greenest to investigate worrying rumours about a Dragon's cult.

Personality
Motivation
Some would call him brash or impetuous, a trait even his aging mentor has never managed to entirely remove root and stem. Yet by his master's stern hand was instiilled the decorum befitting one on the path to knighthood and service to the Gods above.
