Halan to Hilston Report

General Summary

The trip to Hilston turned dangerous as the party found passage on the Duke William, a ship captained by one of Sangar's old friends.  It turned out that he was not a friend after all as he intended to punish sangar  for a slight against his brother-in-law.  he captured the crew by threatening Thorn.  He was about to force Sangar to watch one of his party members fight one of his crew, and with Sangar's life in the balance.  Instead Sangar jumped overboard, and a fight broke out amongst the others.  The party feeling overmatched tried to come to terms with the captain, who eventually agreed but Sangar's need for revenge almost broke the alliance.  He finally relented and the party sailed on to Hilston, but the betrayal of trust between Sangar (for not giving in and endangering the party more) and the rest of the party (Who did not back Sangar and turned on him to get him to back down) may be insurmountable.

The party met Rex Reaver, a former Pirate and once time crewmate of Sangar.  He wanted to drop Sangar in the lake for a past grievance. In the end though, the party and Rex (If not Sangar) came to an understanding.
