The Silver Ring Continued Report

General Summary

Continued from The Silver Ring Report The party made their way up to Volstas, the Frost Giant King, in search of the Silver Ring, and found not only the Vampire Giant waiting for them, but also one of his allies, whom had promised the party she would stay out of the fight.   He was prepared for them and attacked immediately. Fortunately they were able to overcome the two enemies, and finish off the King. They then found his coffin and finally put an end to the Frost Giant threat. After the battle the image of Charles appeared again, and this time he was no longer being suppressed by the power of the King and the party was able to talk to him.   He explained that he was not real Pirate, but a member of the Order of the Platinum Dragon, like they are, and was trying to recover the the rings as well. He found two of them, and his them in the library of Alexandria. He explained that they would need a Seeker of Gilidan, who had completed his training to enter the library.

He also told them that the last ring, the Gold ring was still with Cross-eyed Jack when he disappeared. Charles was working on finding it when he died. He made a deal with a Coven, that he would recover an item for them that had been stolen if they would revel the location of the last ring. The item was stolen by a Naga who he traced back here. He was killed before he could get it though. He also gave the party some information on some of the safe houses that the order maintained. One in Sanction, and one in Seaport.   The party vowed to finish his mission and headed into the castle the find the Naga. They found it and discovered it had also been turned into an undead creature, but they were able to slay it and recover the item for the Hag. With this new knowledge the party left Frost Giant Castle, and returned to their ship. The ship was still in bad shape but they had repaired the ability to fly. They needed to get somewhere where they could enact repairs. Fettlebottom, explained he had a workshop in Freeport, and so the party headed there. The hags were also located in the swamps north of the city, so the party could take care of two things at once.
