Journey Across the Desert Report

General Summary

Still digesting their encounter with their dead friend Emanon and The Wild Hunt, the party continues their journey southeast towards Landis Tower and ultimately Bishop's Seat to report their findings of a revival of a Cult of Orcus near Os Gulch and Rappan Athuk to the Church of the AllFather. At the end of a long hot day on the Coastal Road, the party notice the ruins of an ancient ruined fort atop a butte near the road with the appearance of an occupied encampment.  

  High Priest Ramaeshwara Sardar and his clerics of the Cathedral of Zaphkiel, who have joined the party on their journey to Bishop's Seat, bid the Furry Ballsacks to investigate, but declined to join them as they felt it would be a risk to the important message they carry. It was decided that Kronryn Arabar would stealthily journey to the top of the butte to investigate and report back.   Carefully scouting ahead, Kronryn Arabar discovered that an encampment of large goblinoid creatures had taken over the fort. After reporting back, the party decided they would boldly climb the road to the fort carrying torches in the nighttime air to to confront the creatures.   Challenged by some goblinoid guards at the top of the road, the Furry Ballsacks engaged in conversation with creatures. Upon being invited in to join what appeared to be a Weed Potluck Party with the hippy critters, the party gladly entered the encampment only to be surrounded and attacked from behind. The Hippies were lying!!!! Kermitt Croak was cut down from behind, and in the ensuing
