Cathedral of Zaphkiel

Historically, religion has been a contentious issue in the Shield of Life; the druids of The Mother were very influential in the early period of the coming together of the nation, but the pogroms of Church of the AllFather eventually replaced The Mother as the dominant religion in the region.
The Cathdral of Zaphkiel is an artifact of the early days of the expansion of the Church of the AllFather; similar to Castle Blackfist, it represents a stronghold of the the expansion of the church to the border frontier of the Shield of Life. It is the central stronghold of the faith in Os Gulch, and hosts the clergy as well as a large compliment of defenders of the church. The cathedral often hosts pilgrims from the west travelling to the Theocracy of Thadis.
