Session 16: Scarlet Halls Continued Report

General Summary

The group ventured further into the defiled Scarlet Halls, where they came across the Armoury. Ceru ran into the room and narrowly escaped becoming a piece of abstract art on the wall, while Vash fired a magical arrow and ignited the powder kegs beside the canons vaporizing the Scarlet Cannoneers along with the canons themselves. Beyond the Armoury the Halls began to display more grotesque scenes. The walls were covered in strange symbols, and were littered with paintings from all over the world.  The Hero's of Dace descended into the Sparring Pit where they were confronted by a corrupted Armsmaster on old sparring friend of Lord Winter's. Upon seeing the corruption course through his old friends body the group fought Harlan who succumbed to his wounds and shrivelled up from the waist up when his heart stopped. The Heros moved further in and came to the Antheum where Flamemaster Koegler busily worked. Upon being interrupted Koegler attempted to get the heros to join his cause and fight beside the Crusade in the name of the Dark Prince. The group not buying what Koegler was selling quickly dispatched him, before Koegler transformed into a 4 armed, muscled and definitely beautiful demon with large perky breasts.  The group wasted no time and fought the Demon to it's death.  Bruno searched the body of the wierd creature and when he reached for a green gemstone around his neck was met with a vision he wouldn't soon forget. With The Halls sanctified and the taint now gone, The group discovered a chained up Firehand in a secret chamber off of Commander Lindon's office.  With what forces remained Lindon said he would hold the halls and stage it as a base for when they were called upon to march on Strathome and save the Crusade.  The group then decided to resupply in Crimnor before braving the Snakewood, and then on to Kaldjrfell...
