    Ban Soterius leads the Dace Militia, he was sent down from Altdorf 5 years ago, and hasn't looked back. Ban is a no nonsense kind of guy, and doesn't beat around the bush.

    Griswold runs The Smelt Belt, and is an expert blacksmith, by human standards anyway.

    Handsome, Fearless, Loyal
  • Hildebrandt Aslani
    Captain Aslani joined the Aldorf regulars when he was 16 years of age. He's been trained by the best of them including Kurt Helborg. When Aslani was chosen to travel with the expeditionary force to secure the lands surrounding the village of Dace he did not hesitate when his General came calling. Aslani was tasked with securing a location for the Dace Logging camp to the east. Within 6 months of being in Dace, Aslani had secured a location and had begun protecting the workers who had begun work on the camp. After being in Dace for 5 years, Aslani finally sent word back to Altdorf to his wife and daughter to join him in the south. Unfortunately, the two women never made it to Dace, when the caravan never arrived Alsani was finally defeated. His time spent at the logging camp lessened and his time spent at The Dusty Pig increased. Aslani would often take his time off alone and walk the desert being gone for several days, but this last time the town would see a fort night and still no sign of him. Without Aslani to lead the forces at the camp, there is little hope of holding it.
  • Karlsberg Lagerbiere
    Karlberg is a retired adventurer, and moved to Dace to escape the busy life of Altdorf. When he arrived in Dace he bought the Pig and has been running it ever since.
  • Buergermeister of Dace Landolf Mausse
    5 years ago Landolf Mausse requested additional troops from Altdorf to help better secure the Broken Tusk Mine, and to build a logging outpost closer to the forest in order to speed up their ability to harvest the forest.
  • Taxy Dermous
    Taxi runs Banana Tans, and has been dong it for years. Taxi claims to be able to stuff any animal as long as its dead first (he once tried to stuff an axe beak while it was still alive).....
  • Tim Taylor
    Tim Taylor runs Tool Time, and claims he has a tool for every situation.
  • Trusty Parson
    Trusty runs the stables, and is an expert animal handler. Trusty has a wide range of options for Mounts both common and exotic. Trusty's prized mount is named Princess.

With three quarters of the Heroes of Dace facing down what ever has terrified the giant spiders, Bruno sits at home on his day off wondering, how can I grow the business.

Session 12: Pfft Minis? Where we're going we don't need minis....

With Memnon's defeat at the hands of the Heros of Dace the settlement knows a time of relative quiet. As the town assess' Broken Tusk Mine's viability, attempts to reestablish a logging camp, and opens up to more recruiting for the militia. General Soterius continues his search for his missing men, and the where abouts of the so called Deadmines the secret base of the Defias Brotherhood......   This next session will contain a 2 year time jump this will give your characters time to progress their back stories, and further develop some new skills. What I need from all of you is before the next session a general outline of what you would like to accomplish during this 2 year period. The 2 years will be broken into 4, 6 month periods, so you will need to be able to tell me and the group how your character is going to start to complete this goal in life.   This is what I need from you:   1. What is your characters goal at the end of 2 years? 2. What is the first step in this goal, How will you begin to complete it.   Your goal doesn't have to be achieved at the end of 2 years but it should be something that is attainable in the sessions to come. here is an example.   Overall Goal: Seamus O'Reily the owner of the Broken Tusk Mine wants to get his mine back up and running.   First 6 month Period: Seamus will look to hire people to begin excavating the cave in, He will also send word to the Dwarves of Karak Eight Peaks (located in Altdorf) to send some dwarves to reinforce the mine tunnels once the excavating is complete.   The next 18 months progression will be based off your final goal, dice rolls, your next steps however you intend to accomplish your goal. You may want to accomplish something in the first 6 months but depending on how they play out for you it may take longer or shorter.

With Orc Army forced to go around the mountain they are unlikely to join in the final battle for Dace. Lord Winter and Bruno must gather their courage, and head back to Dace to help in the defense of Dace. Mean while Ceru finds himself playing saboteur at the Defias Camp north of their blocade.

Session 8: I've been Bamboozed

Since we have been on this campaign for 7 sessions now and we have a better understanding of what a Roleplay heavy campaign looks like I would like to ask this Question.   Are we happy with where our characters are, and where they are going. At the start of this campaign we didn't really know what to expect but now we may be able to better see the influence of creating a backstory, playing into it, and taking the time in game to do some of the things you want to do with your character.   With us coming back to the table here is what I am proposing if we want to do a reset and change up your characters we can, we can do a full reset and create new characters or we can keep going with who you have. Either way the world doesn't change, the story doesn't change this just gives you guys a chance to better prepare for the coming sessions.   This can be a full reset or partial depending on how many people want to reset. We wont go into too much detail about your backstory in session but you will need to come up with stuff before the next session and can be as detailed as you wish it to be.   Let me know by this Wednesday what everyone wants to do so that I can plan the next session. Remember We have the ability to Print awesome miniatures now too, so if your want to change it up nows the chance.
