Session 14 Report

General Summary

The group grows closer and is visited by a man Claiming to be David Davidson who hires the HEROES OF DACE despite Lord Winters insistance that everyone is a hero of dace, hires them to locate a ceremonial dagger in the lost tomb of Kaldrfjell in the Scimitar Spires mountain range far to the north of Dace.  The group had their reservations about the individual despite Bruno's insistance that Dave was on the up and up. Lord Winter requested the aid of the Order of Sigmar, and began to fancy Embra. Embra noted that Lord Witch Hunter Firehand had not returned from his mission with Imperius the Head of the Scarlet Crusade. After giving Winter a book regarding a battle about brave heroes at a location named Kaldrfjell Lord Winter agreed to check in at the Scarlet Halls which would have been Imperius' first stop on the journey north to Strathome. Ceru travelled back to Calimport to inquire about the man David Davidson and wasn't given any evidence that there was anything wrong but the College of Whispers and his Handler : Trailling Jor said they would investigate Almraiven from where Dave Davidson claims to be from.  With the party sorted they purchases mounts and set out stoping at local towns for the evenings when they could to fight of travel fatigue. Upon discovering one of the local villages near the scarlet halls had all been destroyed the group set an ambush for a group of Crusaders passing through the village.   THE AMBUSH   With the ambush set the group quickly moved into action, Lord Winter strode out and lured the combatants into melee range while one fell into a hole dug by the party, Vash created vines to entangle the unlucky Crusader in the hole, Bruno readied his action while, Ceru booted a door open and ran out of his hiding place and around the back. Thats where things took a turn for the worse. Ceru got ambushed by an Imp and knocked unconscious, while Vash played cat and mouse with the archers only to be knocked out by a blunt head arrow, Bruno jumped out of the building and ran to follow Ceru, while Winter took the on the Crusaders.    Will Vash wake up? Is this finally the end of Ceru? Will Bruno ever use a readied action? Tune in in 2 weeks  Same D&D time, Same D&D location....
