Session 17: The road to Kaldjrfell Report

General Summary

The group resupplied in Crimmnor, where Ceru had unexpected meeting with Arathis Hewn an bounty hunter sent by Pasha Imok the Grade to reclaim the Cloak of Many pockets he stole 2 years prior, while Bruno had an unexpected change in good fortune scoring dinner (a bag of apples) and a show while purchasing some potions for his journey north.  Movin into the Snake wood the group hear the cries of a young dragon, and went to investigate. The Heroes of Dace came across a group of bandits who had restrained the dragon using a finely crafted net, and were attempting to slay the beast. The group moved in and inquired while the dragon continue to call for help. Vash, Ceru, and Bruno circled the group of bandits and waited, and waited, and waited some more until the dragon finally succumbed to its wounds. Lord Winter was not impressed with the bandits or the so called Blood God they were sacrificing the dragon to. Bruno after waiting long enough and not noticing Lord Winter getting ready to move out took his opportunity and fire his knocked arrow and struck a bandit in the back cause the Heroes of dace to slaughter the bandits and claim the dragon kill for themselves.   After their adventures in the woods the group moved back into civilized areas and resumed traveling the roads north towards Kaldjrfell. After saying goodbye in one of the towns to Firehand who continued on to Altdorf to seek further information about this New Blood God, and the Dark Prince. The group town hopped all the way to Arabel the crown of the Comyr province.   Bruno continues to keep the gem he received hidden, and has begun to draw the eyes of others in the towns he visits.
