Session 11: Is This all you can Conjure, Menon? Report
General Summary
Ceru after finding the Defias camp begins to sabotage the camp by setting fire to one of the tents which is presumed to contain the bands arsenal of weapons for the upcoming attack. While the camp deals with the fire that is quickly getting out of control Ceru sneaks back around to discover a tent with prisoners being held one of which is Knight Captain Gebhardt. Deciding he should attempt a rescue he is outmatched by one of the Defias Lieutenants. after several moments of cat and mouse Ceru notices the camp is gaining control of the fire, and chooses to flee back to Dace. Bruno and Lord Winter make the trek back to Dace, avoid detection, and manage to get in the settlement before the next wave of attacks commences. After receiving a briefing from General Ban, Lord Winter elects to defend the north gate against a Fire Elemental, using his inspiring presence and alittle help from Lythander he manages to destroy the creature and bolster the moral of the Population. Meanwhile Bruno went to hold off the south gate against a host of Fire Dwarves bent on destroying the gate. With the Defias marching on the East gate, the militia was in tough until an unknown ranger showed up to lend a hand, and help fight back the Defias that wern't killed or wounded from the fire that broke out in their camp. In the evening, Ban sent the group to take out the Shaman causing the temperature to rise. The group set out and managed to fight off a intrigue of Imps, and a dazzle of fire dwarves before facing off against the Fire Salamander Shaman and his Fire Dwarf body guard. Lord Winter led the fight while Bruno attempted to get the drop on the shaman. The Shaman proved no match for the tactically sound Winter and was banished back to the elemental plane of fire in under 18 seconds.... With the defeat of the Shaman Memno's forces were dealt a heavy blow. Non the less The Efreeti was set on destroying Dace, and reclaiming his land. The final assualt camp hard and fast but the People of Dace proved stronger on the day battling back and securing their survival. Memnon fled the field as his minions were destroyed and banished back to the plane of fire.
